Even though this is highly unconfirmed, I certainly won’t be surprised if this is true. This is the most embarrassing incident that Russia had since the sinking of the Moskva
 
Something seems off with this bridge thing. I hate to be "conspiracy" too much but one has to wonder, do the powers that be actually want a nuclear threat to materialize...

Maybe Russia is doing it to give the appearance of a legitimate tactical nuke strike. Russia has taken such a beating in this war they need something tonchange the tide at home because of growing unrest

Maybe they'll nuke Moscow and blame it on someone else like usual

It's a main artery. If Ukraine wants to control and retake the south that bridge has to be disabled force them to move supplies and troops by boat or ferry and slow them down significantly. Russia knows better than to use tactical nukes. It's possible but Putin is no fool. He may be in a corner but he has plenty of options other than using nukes.

Zelenskyy already said he doesn't want to negotiate with Putin and want's another Russian president. This gives Putin 2 options, resign and be tried at the Hague or Nuclear War and hide out in a bomb shelter for a few years.

Russia is good at controlling the narrative too. He has plenty of options. I wouldn't lose any sleep over Nukes

Nobody's taking this seriously. If they were, cities and the federal government would be making emergency preparations with nuclear shelters and supplies like they did previous nuclear incident. At least give the citizens a fighting chance.
