In regards to military operations, the Ukrainian lines have been shredded by Russian Artillery and Infantry due to Ukrainian redeployment of troops toward the besieged industrial suburb of Soledar, which lies along the Donetsk River tributary that feeds Bakmut and Zaitseve, and stands as the last strongly fortified, geographically advantageous positive East of Dnipro. The Russians have advanced all the way to the outskirts of Soledar from the west. Due to feint attacks toward Siversk and Sloviansk, the Ukrainians sent forces north to defend against what they believed would be the primary Russian advance. The Ukrainians were pulled into an offensive advance in which Russian Troops and Scouts made tactical retreats that pulled VSU soldiers into the kill zone of Russian Artillery from the East. The Ukrainians also suffered major casualties trying to cross the Donestk River to get rid of the Russian Army that's been sitting north Siversk and NE of Sloviansk for months. The trick pulled troops away from the key city of Bakmut (population 70,000), which servers a transportation, military and command center for Ukrainian Defense in Donestk. There is no other city as well-fortified as Bakmut, and it would be disastrous defeat, and lead to a deadly retreat. https://liveuamap.com/en/2022/7-august-russian-army-shelled-nikopol-district-with-mlrs

Today, reports and videos show Russians advancing towards the outerskirts of Bakmut and Mykolaivka. Artillery has been continuously shelling Bakmut for the last couple of days, and Ukrainian casualties are piling up. The VSU has had no response to this assault other than to fire indiscriminately into Civilian Population of Donetsk and Kherson. This could get bad real fast if the Russian cut-off Bakmut within a week.

Meanwhile, Russians forces are building along Northern Ukraine, particularly around Kharkiv. Ukrainian Troops have been sent to northern suburbs and rural towns nearby, and they are removing families from their homes by force. There are reports of Ukrainians shooting civilians that refuse to leave their home. The Ukrainian Military Commanders have become paranoid of Civilians, especially ethnically and linguistically Russian populations given the recruitment successes the Russians have had in Luhansk, Donestk and Kharkiv.

Since only 30% will reach the front lines,
We should send munitions, systems etc ONLY !!

The whole point of the funds is to rob the tax payers and fund beneficiaries through accounting tricks that turns a delivered item that costs $3 into a $7 Net Profit for the Third Parties funding the politicians. I guess they could always resell the items to ISIS, and say it was lost to unforeseen circumstances.

Wait until a few Jet Liners are brought down in the coming years.. By all those Arms going into the Black Market..
Arms are likely being Diverted, according to the recent CBS (news) report & other sources.

The CBS story noted that with nearly $60 billion in US and Western European aid approved for Ukraine since Russias military offensive began in February, most of the weaponry has failed to get through to Ukrainian fighters. Getting weapons to the troops involves navigating a complex network of power lords, oligarchs [and] political players, the outlet cited Lithuanian aid group founder Jonas Ohman as saying. Amnesty International senior crisis adviser Donatella Rovera told CBS that there is really no information on where the weapons are going.

I noticed this watching a (ONE) Video, filmed, A exchange of suitcase's of Cash & Javelins in Private vehicles..

This all isn't going to end well..

I do not like the reports coming from US and NATO, mercenary veterans fighting in Ukraine. You have brave men that served 3 tours in the Middle East calling it quits due to how intense the fighting has been. As I said just six weeks ago, the Ukrainians are getting shell-shocked by the Russian Artillery, and it's evident that Ukraine is suffering massive casualties to their best men, and soldiers are going AWOL. In the NBC Story, the New Zealander that spent three tours Afghanistan left after five months, because the situation is far more deadly,
You're not comparing apples to apples. Mercenaries are exactly that: Rogue fighters joining guerilla network. Fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, they had the full backing of the US military might. They have none of that in Ukraine so of course it's going to feel more intense.

THINK of the "side Effects" of the coming "Energy Crunch" coming this Fall & Winter..

There's going too be Countries of Cold & Starving Folks in the European Union.
-----------

Residents of Switzerland were urged to stock up on candles and firewood before winter
The head of ElCom Switzerland Luginbhl urged fellow citizens to stock up on candles and firewood for the winter.

President of the Swiss Federal Electricity Commission (ElCom) Werner Lginbhl urged fellow citizens to stock up on candles and firewood before winter. He made such a statement in an interview with NZZ am Sonntag.

He warned that the country would face a harsh winter. According to him, a power outage is not excluded.

"Everyone should think about what they will do in the event of a power outage for a few hours or Day," he said. In this regard, he pointed out that it is desirable to have a sufficient number of candles in the house. In addition, residents of the country who have a wood-burning stove "should make sure that they have enough firewood."

The head of ElCom also noted that Europe risks facing a large-scale shortage of electricity and gas.

Earlier, the head of the Forest Fund Administration of Moldova, Iulian Mamai, said that the country's residents are actively stocking up on firewood, despite the increase in wood prices by 10 percent.

They, (Mercenaries & Foreign Fighters),, are going to go AWOL in Droves come this fall

WWI & WWII, (trench), warfare isn't going to be appealing..
With massive amounts of Russian artillery shells falling constantly..
While you're freezing in a underground Hole/Shelter..
Russia needs too pick up it's game..

Fall is quickly approaching..
They have until Late August & Sept, (early Oct) , as INLAND from the Black Sea/Azov Sea(s) turn brutally cold quickly..

I'm looking for, either escalation(s) to ramp quickly to end the War, or turn into WWI/WWII TRENCH type warfare going into Fall.. Or plenty of activity turned towards Odessia come winter.
As it's a warm water port.

Folks..

WATCH Germany AND the Other Countries...

SUE for PEACE, (On behalf of Ukraine)..

Seriously..

You think the *Populace* are going to freeze to death, defending Ukraine?

Millions of German households soon without heating?
Freezing against Putin..???

THINK beyond ARMS INC, etc..

Now things are getting serious: What was previously a rather theoretical warning is now becoming a concrete threat scenario. Because in winter, millions of German households are threatened with a failure of their heating -- because the gas pressure in the supply networks can suddenly decrease. This is the first time that the serious effects of an irresponsible sanctions and attitude policy for the population are really noticeable.

As reported by "Bild" , a secret switching conference took place on Wednesday between the head of the Chancellor's Office, Wolfgang Schmidt, and the heads of the state chancellery of the federal states, which was also attended by Federal Network Agency President Klaus Mller and representatives of several federal ministries federal ministries participated. The reason for the emergency meeting was the federal government's growing fear that millions of heating systems could fail in winter if the pressure in the gas networks suddenly dropped as a result of a gas shortage and large numbers of heating systems were switched off in winter...
What happens when those pilot lights go out? ;)

Some pretty bad takes in here....

Back to reality...

I wish we supported Israel like Ukraine.
“Since 1985, the United States has provided nearly US$3 billion in annual grants to Israel, which has been the largest recipient of annual American aid from 1976 to 2004 and the largest cumulative recipient of aid ($146 billion, not inflation-adjusted) since World War II;[1][2] approximately 74 percent of these funds are spent on the purchases of American goods and services.[3] More recently, in fiscal year2019, the United States provided Israel with $3.8 billion in military aid.[2] Israel also benefits from around $8 billion in American loan guarantees.[2]

Theyre also our only ally that region. I have much less of an issue with that spending.

Recently our sentiments towards them havent been as friendly as in the past.

What does Ukraine provide??

Dropping for situational awareness, reserving comment beyond. 12 coded AK frames, likely split between Poland and the Baltics.

I've been in Kinston the last couple weeks, F-35s out of Cherry Point with Johnson F-15Es and aggressors, mid morning, 100% legit.

Aka don’t ----! with me, period. Exclamation point. A quartet of 22s are capable of sanitizing the airspace over Ukraine in short order. Let alone a squadron.

At the rate the Ukrainians are taking out Russian ammo depots the Russians are not going to have anything left to shoot.....gotta love them HIMARS.....

Ukraine's Interior Minister: We must prepare for all scenarios at the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant.
Ran a scenario based on Chernobyl which wasn't a complete meltdown and magnified it by 6 since Zaporizhia has 6 reactors. This is how far the radiation might spread. Orange being a Chernobyl type meltdown, red being magnified 6 times.

Since the red covers a large portion of Russia, we can feel pretty good about it not happening. Unless there's some sort of false flag.

That's my thinking too. Only other way as Putin described it would be as a last resort like if they were on the retreat and had to vacate the plant. But it ultimately depends on the wind patterns. This map just shows the wind at all angles.
