The reality in Ukraine is that the Russians are now winning. The Russians aren't struggling anymore. They are taking strategic terrain and cities so they are within range to bombard the Ukrainian positions with artillery, and cut off supplies to Ukrainian Troops. Ukrainian Veterans in the Donbass region and their reinforcements are losing morale cause they are constantly targeted with overlapping fields of fire from heavy artillery, and counterattacks and feints are being repelled. Troops are being shellshocked, and they are starting to desert.
I just don't see any reason for Russia to rush towards Kyiv when they can dismantle the Ukrainian military power by slowly advancing on the strategic locations in the East and Coastline. Ukraine's socioeconomic power is degrading by the day. I just don't know how long they can last before Russia scores a major victory.

Yeah no one is saying this but Putin/Russian sources, in fact the losses the Russians have sustained for the gains made point in the other direction, Ukraine has been a complete and total disaster for the Russians.....

A War Reporter for WAPO and Kissinger are now saying it. Just cause you believe government propaganda doesn't mean no one is saying it. Censoring the foremost experts on Russia-Ukrainian relations cause they have a different take on the situation doesn't mean no one is saying it. People get banned for challenging the narrative on Ukraine. There are Independent Journalists that have confirmed many of my statements. In Nato Countries, mainstream media is only allowed to report information from NATO Military Officials. Everyday, Journalists from the mainstream media are briefed on the narrative they may disseminate, and there are consequences for reporting facts that may support Russian Intelligence. That's the way it currently works in our country. It's actually pretty stunning that a WAPO Reporter would report on an anti-Ukrainian narrative.
Ukraine has been a disaster for everyone in the world, and the Ukrainian loses are catastrophic in comparison to the Russian side. It's not like they've mobilized the entire nation against Ukraine, but Zelensky has certainly thrown everything he has at the invading forces. The Ukrainians are merely losing by attrition. The impact on the world economy hasn't even been realized yet, and Russia has prepared for those consequences.

I read this groups assessment every day, they are the least biased rundown on how things progress in Ukraine that I have found....they are not nearly as impressed as you are with Russia's gains....this is not turned into some rout by the Russians.....Ukraine's losses are not catastrophic compared to Russia's, hell the Ukrainian army has more tanks now thanks to Russian abandonment than ever before, they have more ATGM and Manpads than ANY other military on earth right now....Russia has lost ten's of thousands of troops, thousands of vehicles, etc and for what....Russia could not get to Kyiv if they wanted to.

"The Ukrainians are making Russia pay a price it cannot afford" is a silly statement. WTF is the Institution for the Study of War? Oh it's a Neocon Think Tank that's funded by military contractors, and lobbies Washington DC for War Hawk foreign policy to increase military expenditures. They are basically pretending to be an independent research institute, but are merely a mouthpiece for the war hawks in government. lol. That really strengthens my point about government propaganda in mainstream media.
So you think that Russia has suffered catastrophic loses that are worse than Ukraine? LOL. A third of Ukraines' population is displaced, and a quarter of the country has been leveled. People are without food, water, and power. The death toll is probably nearing a hundred thousand at this point. Russia has taken control or blockaded every Ukrainian Port. The economy has collapsed. They are putting civilians on the front line cause they have run out of trained soldiers. Their major cities are bombarded on a daily basis. The fact that you think Russia's losses are more catastrophic than Ukraine just demonstrates the powerful effects of brainwashing.
Russia could not get to Kyiv if they wanted to? They can bombard Kyiv every single day for the next two years, and slowly grind this war out with the Ukrainians. That's the problem that many are starting realize. The constant propaganda extolling the bravery of the soldiers defending Kyiv and blowing up naval vessels is counterproductive when everyone knows Ukraine stands no chance winning if they fight to the bitter end when Russia also intends to fight to the bitter end.

Well if we are counting the thousands of Ukrainian civilians murdered by Russia then sure Ukraine has suffered catastrophic loses....military wise Ukraine is way up on Russia....its not even close. Bands of lightly armed Ukrainian forces have run around and destroyed literally BILLIONS of dollars worth of top line Russian equipment, that thanks to sanctions they cant replace. You talk about brainwashing and spin then spew nonsense that is not backed up by what is actually seen happening in Ukraine. Russia had to essentially stop fighting everywhere else in Ukraine so they could try to focus on just taking the Donbas which they still cant do, yet we are suppose to believe Russia is winning?
Russia is out of a lot of the missiles they use to hit Kyiv, and other places in Ukraine. They literally are using anti ship missiles in land attack rolls to make up for the short falls in missiles and rockets. Russia is sending 50-60 yr old T-62 tanks to Ukraine because they are low on modern battle tanks....these tanks will be nothing but coffins assuming they work at all. Separatist/Russian troops in LNR and DNR are refusing to fight....this is not signs of a army capable of doing much more than the half ass fighting they are doing now.
The world is not going to let Ukraine lose, more and more weapons get sent everyday. NATO and west are now heavily invested on Ukraine winning....at the very best all Putin might get in Donbas, that was not his goal regardless of what anyone says....and the price that little piece of Ukraine that he will never fully control cost him is going to be monumentally higher than anything Russia wanted to pay. Winning Donbas is still a massive loss for Putin.
Russia is going to eventually accomplish their objective. At least we've stopped hearing the daily chemical/nuclear/biological weapons warnings.

The Ukrainian Counter-Offensive to retake Western Towns near Kherson have failed. The Russian flank has been repelled and the Center is crumbling. Russia has almost encircle Ukrainian Counter-Offensive Troops that attempted to take Bruskynske as of nine hours ago.

LOL you understand the fact that the Russians are sending hundreds of 40-50 yr old tanks to the front ( half if whom probably wont even run ) with horribly out dated armor and optics are not a sign things are going well.....those tanks will literally be the death of thousands of more Russian troops as most everything the Ukrainians have ATGM wise will one tap those tanks. These tanks are so old and useless even the Ukrainian farmers wont drag one home.
The Russian soldiers on the inside of these metal coffins ought to tell their leadership to lead from the damn front instead of asking these kids to go and die by the THOUSANDS in these death traps....
All this will do is make more Russian fields look like this...

Ukrainians doing good with the counter near Kherson, I doubt the intent is retaking Kherson but rather forcing the Russians to spread more forces from further north to give the Ukrainians there a chance to slow the Russians even more....

This is the truth, they go after the US and we could end them in eastern Ukraine in a few days....this is why the US has been staging assets in various places around Ukraine the last several months...the Russians have nothing to even remotely handle what the US could throw at them with just the small amount of equipment we got in theater.
