Did the Russian crew get off board to safety? I read earlier it might have been 500 on board

I mean if they took a couple of Neptune missiles then a lot of the crew is not ok....seas are very rough over there in the Black Sea as there is a major storm system ongoing, plus water temps I imagine are still 40's and 50's. They did abandon ship and the Russians had other ships in the area to assist....

If this is accurate and it appears that it is then the ship was heavily engulfed in fire and if the Neptune "ammo racked" the ship the the loss of crew will be heavy....

Why would they want to bomb Kyiv for the Moskva accidentally catching on fire and sinking?????

Russia’s “explanation” for this is more embarrassing then what probably happened.

Either your crew was so incompetent that they screwed up with the ammunition on the boat..orrrr it’s the description that I’ve seen passed around about how a drone distracted the Moskva and allowed for missiles to strike the cruiser.

I probably would word the above better if it wasn’t very late and my brain wasn’t fried, if it isn’t worded well enough.

I imagine the death toll from the Moskva is on the high side...it was the middle of the night on a dark stormy night, the seas were rough and the water cold....the reports of the ship suffering magazine explosions etc also would increase the number of deaths. I saw one tweet that said a Turkish ship picked up 54 crew, but thats all your really seeing, I would not be surprised if 80-90% of the crew died on board or drowned.

Don’t we have a nuclear warhead out in the ocean near Tybee Island? The military had to drop it because it looked like they were going to crash land.
Not sure how accurate, I googled and found this

Kings Bay is one of two home ports for Ohio class subs so not surprising. It’s not like these warheads are stored on the dock, or near the surface.
