Few points I wanted to make from earlier. When it comes to the United States sanctioning china if they help Russia. My first point is how many products do you buy that has made in Russia on the back? My guess is zero. Now how many products do you buy that has made in China on the back? Probably 85% of what you buy. Now with that said I feel like if the United States really sanctioned china we would hurt about as much as they would! The reason is because we depend on china for almost everything made in China. So sanctioning China is not as easy as sanctioning Russia.

And my final point is this

China/Russia will probably eventually align so to speak. Why because Nato exist. For that reason China/Russia is stronger with each other then they are alone. Just my 2 cents anyway

As far as sanctioning China, it would hurt them a hell of a lot more than it would us, it would not just be sanctions from the US but the world at large and China would collapse in weeks without the world trading with them. IT wont ever happen though, China is not that stupid to put themselves in a position to do that.

China and Russia are aligned already in many ways, so China is trying to walk the tightrope here between keeping Putin happy and not putting themselves in a position where the west decides to sanction them. In the end though they will pick the US/West over Russia they cant afford not to and at the end of the day they simply will not risk economic and thus government collapse to save someone like Putin, especially since he offers them nothing.

I think it all comes down to if China actually plans to invade Taiwan? If they do that then there would be sanctions anyway so in that case. Yes I think they go all out for Russia. Also what I mean about it hurting us. Is could you imagine everything that’s made in China not being on the shelves my goodness Walmart would be empty.

I'll be blunt. The US/China blockading each other scenario is extremely unrealistic ( at least over Russia). It's basically the economic equivalent of nuking each other. Makes me think of the doctrine of mutually assured destruction. I'm not even sure it matters which country would be hurt worse, but I'm pretty certain neither one wants to find out.

Very spot on and my point exactly that I’m trying to make

Good, point made. Now unless China actually gets involved in the Ukraine war or some type of definitive assistance to Russia involving this war and/or US sanctioning of China let it go, please. It tends to derail the Ukraine war thread

It's a confirmed missile launch.

And it apparently failed soon after launch if this source is to be believed:

Sickening if true, again so much information/misinformation out there. Video in comments supposedly shows the victims, so warning if you click link and read through it but war is hell, especially with Russian forces
