This is beyond stupid. Russia is getting it's butt handed to them by the Ukrainian Milliary. The Ecomony is also collasping in Russia and the Putin inner circle is getting smaller. What is blocking international waters going to do besides cause a major escalation in tenisons for no reason? This doesn't doesn't help Ukraine at all. Also prohibiiton of titanium and Uranium is only going to hurt us more than Russia. Do our leaders in the US even think things through?

Gives me pause on what Russia could do against the west, sensible impact vs a plethora of penetration and gathering they have already done. Israel will respond in kind, zero doubt.

From what I understand, until we block their minerals and oil/gas, we're not really hurting Putin at all. So long he is able to export those items he will have some cash flow .

How could we actually their block mineral and Oil/Gas exports? With Putin struggling as much as he is with trying to take Ukraine, I see no reason of taking such dangorous steps that really doesn't help Ukraine at all and at end of the day hurts us more it hurts Putin.

Yeah, blocking Russia out of international waters is pretty much a “no sail zone”. Might as well put the “no fly zone” in effect over Ukraine. Heck, it would probably less risky.

China is not stupid, who do you think they would rather have on their side the US with our economy or Russia with theirs....this removes a way for Russia to convert rubles to yuan at a premium.

This is how world wars start, regional scope creep, absent a triggering event.

UAE was not the reason we sent 8 F-22s there, Iran along other contingencies / objectives, not Yemen.

Agreement in principle today, 23 billion UAE deal still up in the air

Germany has the resources, as do most EU countries, unfortunately this is the trigger for them stepping up.

“BERLIN, March 14 (Reuters) - Germany will buy 35 U.S. F-35 fighter jets to replace its ageing Tornado, it said on Monday, announcing a first big defence deal since Chancellor Olaf Scholz pledged a 100-billion-euro upgrade to the military in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The move appeared to be part of a tectonic shift in German security policy, including a pledge to reach NATO's 2% target for defence spending, after years of accusations that Germany was too dovish towards Moscow in compensation for its Nazi past."After looking thoroughly into all available options, I decided to initiate the purchase of F-35 aircraft as replacement for the Tornado in the role of nuclear sharing," Defence Minister Christine Lambrecht said in a statement”
“The Tornado is the only German jet capable of carrying U.S. nuclear bombs, which are stored in Germany, in case of a conflict. read more But the German air force has been flying the Tornado since the 1980s, and Berlin is planning to phase it out between 2025 and 2030.”

“The National Security Advisor is appointed by the President and does not require confirmation by the United States Senate. However, an appointment of a three or four-star General to the role requires Senate reconfirmation of military rank.”

Just a friendly meeting where they brought out a list of all the sanctions and damage happening to Russia and had Russia scratched out and China written in to make sure they know we mean business.....

Hell the sanctions on Russia are already hurting China some.....Putin has exposed Russia for what it is, China is not going to hitch their horse to Russia.....they certainly wont sink with them.
