This looks to be the more accurate rain snow line .. correlation coefficient is a much better product at seeing precip type differentiation as it looks at size and shape of the precip..

Moderate to heavy snow falling now. Outdoor furniture and car tops white.. ground behind a little bit because it’s so warm but rates will over come that pretty soon if it keeps going like it is now

35 here in north Huntsville, not much precip yet. But temp has dropped 10 degrees in less than an hour

Just 7 hrs ago it was sunny and 70 deg…. Crazy
I can tell you one thing ain't gonna be lacking precipitation models are undercooked a little bit it looks like compared to real to monitoring. I suspect it will all come down to how fast cold air moves now

Saw a cam just north of the Bama state line (Waynesboro Tn) looks like a blizzard! Winds are whipping here, just some light rain, but power is already flickering.

5 inches of snow in Hernando, MS. This storm way overperformed. Still snowing lightly but about done. Roads are solidly snow covered.

1.5" on my truck... 1" in the grass... 0 on paved surfaces. Rates still seem to be moderate to high but right now the flakes are much smaller than they were 45 min ago

CHA airport went from 61 at 10:20pm to 46 at 11:30pm, 15 degree drop in 70 minutes. that's a cold front!
