We would all love that but he is an egomaniacal man who has had too much power for far too long. They are as unpredictable as a cornered rabid dog.

What's more likely is his troops start deserting his equipment gets left behind and his own people start to rise up.
 
Interestingly enough, I believe underperforming military performance and low troop morale was a significant factor for Russia during WW1, which in turn eventually led to a revolution.

That doesn't necessarily mean that will happen here. (a lot of geopolitical differences between then and now) But it's something to keep in mind.

The people in Russia are going to be pissed when they cant get their everyday comfort items the world has become use to having at their fingertips. Revolution is a very good possibility here. Every POW that were lied to thinking they were going on a peacekeeping mission or just to help in Donbas should be told to return home and make Russia a better place.
 
This looks like a bigger picture and longer video from Kharkiv. Air strikes occurred then Russian aircraft shot down possibly.
