How true!!! Majority of elected officials don't really care as much about "issue X" as much as it'ss being portrayed. It's all about staying power and finding the right time, place, and method of delivery of whatever pushes the needle in their favor and pleasing the mega-rich donors that keep them in power. There's hardly any true "Statesmen" left.

Like I said ... the last one I recall ... and it's been a while. The dude was D and he appeared and spoke at the R convention ... cared about what was good for Young Harris/Blairsville and Oklahoma City and Concord NH and Portland OR ... dude was a statesman ...

In that case then you will have quite a few "civilian" deaths. When the govt gave weapons to the people of Ukraine they became combatants. I do agree if both sides are good with the civilian combatants dying, then they are going to die.

One side note of importance. We are hours from Biden paying Iran 11 billion dollars to obtain 4 hostages. Needless to say paying for hostages will cause more hostages. I will put this in caps. IRAN IS THE ALLY OF RUSSIA. Iran is going to use that money to finish the job of getting nuclear weapons. We really, really, really, really should not want Iran to have nukes. Iran funded and supplied the killing of our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Iran and Russia are in Syria as we speak propping up Assad. Iran funds attacks on Israel.

So, as we huff and puff over Ukraine Biden is using the war to do a deal with Iran hoping most people wont notice.

Here is an article thats a year old but it puts in perspective that by paying for hostages we will have more hostages. By helping Iran have nukes and by helping Iran fund more terror Biden is helping Russia.

Wang said that after he read reports about the $1.7 billion payment, first published in the Wall Street Journal, "I felt, ‘Oh shoot, they are going to arrest me, because clearly they want to take me for ransom.'" He was detained by Iranian authorities shortly after."

1.7 billion for 5 hostages has gone up to 11 billion for 4. Again we are helping destablize the Middle East by funding Russia's terror govt ally. Good work!!

A little off topic, but I was bored and was googling Nuclear explosions and the like. This snippet is from the government site on what to do after a Nuclear bomb goes off and how to escape radiation. I kid you not.
