Don't really do politics or pick sides but i do have to say im glad this administration understands no fly zone that every is asking for is a no go and openly admits it would never consider it. That gives me a little ease in the situation at least

Because with sanctions and the world cutting Putin and Russia off from almost everything. How will Russia afford to and have enough equipment to drag out a war for years? Meanwhile many countries are supplying Ukraine with the weapons to continue to fight. Just seems like to me something is going to give either Russia just runs out of steam or someone turns on Putin and pulls him out of there. Russian citizens will hurt financially someone going to pull Putin out of power eventually.

When Europe and our own country stops buying their oil I might consider this a possibility. As long as Russia is on Ukraine soil there will be fighting even if its down to insurgency

As a comm Marine that operated at division and MEF level, I highly doubt Russia lacks encrypted networks at the tactical level. Could be a honey pot to see who is listening.

Regardless of what happens, conflict is this area of the world, a direct result of this war, will last for years. You have to occupy it after you invade it, that takes years, especially because you have to rebuild.
