First of all Iraq probably shouldn’t have happened at all. Afghanistan lasted to long of course looking back on both wars those are dark times I think every American would like to move past.

All along, I’ve thought this was one of the more troubling scenarios as I do think Putin would be willing to use tactical nuclear weapons to turn the tide in the event events start to get out of hand for the Russians. Hopefully, I’m wrong.

Nevertheless, it’s only day three so we’ll see what happens.
 
I don’t know how many of these repelling reports with heavy Russian casualties are pro-Ukrainian propaganda, but if they are true then Putin made a huge miscalculation. Or he knew it was going to go this way but felt he had no choice because he didn’t want to look weak backing away from the border. Either way, talk about wild times. I guess we will see the result of him sending another block of Russian troops.

I also wander about how he feels about the US actively supplying advanced weaponry and intel during the conflict. He obviously seems unstable and hope he doesn’t do anything stupid to retaliate this fact (I can’t see him being this stupid).

Gotta love the fight out of the Ukrainians, much different than the Afghan situation. I would hate to see Ukraine fall as it seems they are 100% bought in and willing to defend freedom down to civilian level.

You have to believe Putin is going to get much more aggressive soon. The longer this drags out, the more the walls close in on him.

Putin is honestly playing with fire. I'm surprised there hasn't been a coup yet.
 
Russia has certainly incurred some heavy losses of equipment and men. They seem to have no regard for their own troops out of a desire to take Kyiv quickly. Sadly, they still have many men and much equipment to throw into the battle.

Russia’s always fought battles without much regard for their own casualties. It seems things haven’t changed much.

Honestly these systems like Javelins and NLAW have made armor almost worthless......MBT might stand a chance to survive a hit or two but the other stuff like APC's etc forget about it......they are rolling coffins. They are easy to carry and use, fire and forget top down attacking weakest armor....does not take long to learn to use one.

Also the swagger this guy has tells you a lot about how things are going for Russia.....he is causally walking up to a destroyed Russian column during a on going fight with zero ----- to give.....ready to kill another piece of armor.
 
When you look at it the Russians really seem to think they were just going to ride up the existing road systems against little resistance and ride right into the major Ukrainian cities.....there is no real air support, not real signs of arty or rocket support coordinated with the attacks of their columns.....they failed to secure their supply chain, the fact that Ukrainian civilians are riding and filming along side Russian columns or able to take video of destroyed Russian equipment with no signs of Russians shows that there is no real logistics setup.....they simply did not plan on this taking 3-4 days.....and now the Ukrainians have anti tank kill teams all over the their rear areas killing any resupplies. Its a fuster cluck for the Russians and they are going to end up out of fuel and ammo and having to give up and hand over top line Russian equipment to Ukraine....

Now, the question is: What does that mean? How will they work with them?

Is Russia just going to make the same demands they did before? Or is Russia willing to move its position?
