Alabama is highly underrated . I think what’s holding them back is some of their cities are dysfunctional ( Birmingham ) from my understanding . I think Birmingham lost population again actually . Huntsville for example though has lots of potential , reminds me of RTP. Big engineering school and manufacturing base there . Space center as well. One of my friends went to school in Huntsville .

Birmingham is problematic, but it has potential.

It does have a university with a great medicine program going for it.

The southern suburbs there (Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Homewood, etc.) are nice though. They're almost like a smaller poor man's version of Atlanta's northern suburbs.

Yep I looked at zillow over the weekend giggled to myself and closed the tab. Just depends how much profit I would make on this place. Would love to get into the better snow/wedge climo areas of the N/W Triangle but want to avoid wake

Seriously, I've done many presentations over the years (not in front of cameras like that, which I think would be more difficult) and I've seen many people struggle far worse than you on their first try. You looked pretty natural and it will definitely get better the more comfortable you get.

Your voice projection was better than I would have imagined haha and only thing I'd add to that is try not to let it fade out at end of sentences (you did that a few times and difficult for us old folks to hear). Oh and your tie was too short ?

Wow man thanks a ton really appreciate all the kind words from you and everyone! Being a broadcast meteorologist is something I’ve wanted for so long. I’m in the very early stages but I’m hoping this will help with future endeavors..

Yeah I have no good news if your looking for bargains. The interest our area is getting from the National Developers & Companies is pretty impressive. I'm locked in with my company because of a non compete clause so I've been looking too. I've made the decision to think more long term and purchase land elsewhere but within about a 3 hour driving distance. Have a few tracts now and one will eventually be a retirement house/rental. I just dont want to drop 600k on a place around here that seems irresponsible.
