gotta be a little nervous if GSP seeing a squall line like feature develop in Tennessee behind the current heavy rain moving in over saturated grounds tonight. Hopefully no flooding but won’t take much

I donated blood on Monday. My COVID antibody test came back positive! Lets goooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had COVID in August 2020... been more than a year! LETS GOOOOOOOO! No Vaccine for me ! LETS GOOOO YOU ------- LOSERS !

hope this works but here is my first forecast video for NC state.. let me know what y’all think .. definitely rough around the edges and a few word clusters but for my first time come on

Quality stach! Your vocal modulation was really good. Also, the way you discussed and describe the weather and the forecast was very good. And your pacing was good.

I would offer two tips: 1) Hands. This can be a challenging thing to master, but it really makes the difference between a ho hum weather segment and an intriguing and captivating broadcast. Think Jim Canmore. He's about the best there is at this. Don't touch your tie and don't clasp your hands at your belt buckle more than once or twice. Point to the map and make motions of where things are moving, flow directions, point to the temp, etc.

2) Eye placement. Don't look hard left or right. Especially don't look hard left if the graphics are on the right side of the screen. Turning hard in either direction can be distracting and detract from the segment. It also causes the mic not to pick up the sound as well. I don't know how the studio is set up, so maybe the monitors are off to the sides.

In any case, you will have a career at that, if you want it. You have a really good presence and a good cadence with the broadcast. Be mindful of not overusing the same word or phrases, but that comes with practice and reviewing tapes. Great job man. You did awesome.

Wow man thanks a ton I really appreciate the time you put in to give me that feedback! A couple things to note. There’s two monitors on either side but the one ahead of me was broken for the day so I only had the monitor behind me unfortunately so that’s why I was looking back so much I tried the best I could to remember what was on the screen but at the end of the day with the lights and camera on me sometimes you just blank lol.. hopefully by next time I’ll be able to look at the one in front of me which would help me see where I’m pointing and just be a little more fluid with everything.. I did have a tough time keeping my hands apart and moving them around so with every broadcast I’ll just have to try and focus on moving them more fluidly and try to make the movements more captivating. Yeah repeated words and phrases I also have to work on basically tags onto the whole stressing with the lights and camera on me lol just gotta get used to it more … really appreciate it man certainly my dream to go down this path

I’m no rocket scientist or Dr, but I think I’d rather have the vaccine, than have to catch covid , to get the antibodies! Me and my homing device are doing just fine, and I can’t wait to get the 3rd ( booster) shot! ?

I need to bundle my home and auto insurance who is the best to go with? I'm getting gouged with them separate
Safeco, was really good for me on the bundle
I have American family insurance here, may be a Midwest only kind of thing!?
You can also find a company to shop for you, and get you the best deals! I used BB&T insurance services, based out of CLT, I thought! They always found me good deals and you could call them every year and tell them to shop around for you.
