Misc 2021-22 Fall/Winter Whamby Thread

Swimming season is year round for me so I’m not worried . I’ve been in the ocean in December and I get into lakes and rivers whenever ! Fro should grow some cajones then he can swim year round
Eh I did swim last late December and honestly not that bad, is was a bet but it didn’t feel that bad, it wasn’t at my pool tho

while I do like....a little optimistic are we?
Had 66”+ last winter, my first winter up here. Average is 35-40”. I’m going above average, slightly! ?

Dubuque 10 inches . Lots of rain . Warmest winter ever spring by February
I was off on all accounts, I reckon!??, but almost 200% of average last winter, I’ll take! 7A3FFD71-FF95-43C3-A994-3DD7E115F222.png

If it were 70-80 year round with dews 50s or lower and lots of sunshine, I would be perfectly happy. Heat/humidity and cold are both overrated.

More like a cool front, lows in the low 50s is kinda weak, can’t wait for the 80s next week !
Still got more summer fun left to enjoy. I use to want a cold snowy long winter, hence my username, but I find myself loving 80's and tropical most now. Id like to retire on one of the islands off the SC coast near Charleston towards Savanna.

Yep I’ve gotten older and enjoy the warmth more, I’m turning into @NoSnowATL , just more things you can do outdoors when it’s 85/60 vs 45/30
