Yep that's it. Probably going to have to watch 98L if that eastern trough is off at all it could quickly become an issueYou mean hooking that TC and Sling shot into the Eastern US?
That translates to 30s for lows. Might not quite be frost yet, but appears once front clears, fall is in full swing.Euro has 850s down to 2-4c in parts of TN/NC at 240
Yeah I'm nervous about that D7-10 pattern though it can so easily go mega warmThat translates to 30s for lows. Might not quite be frost yet, but appears once front clears, fall is in full swing.![]()

.LONG TERM...
Behind the front, a ridge will start to build in
from the west with a surface high also building down. The forecast
you see is no lie- there is a 0% chance of rain for a few days.
And yes, less than a 5% chance allllll the way through Monday!
(NOTE- forecasts DO change. But I choose to talk about this
current victory of cooler, drier, days ahead.) I can`t remember
the last time SE LA saw potentially 5 days of little to no rain.
Along with that, highs will be near 80 Thu/Fri and will start to
warm again through the weekend and into Monday. (But- dew points
will be in the 50s to lower 60s! PW values even drop below half an
inch). Low temperatures are the real treat with lows Thu night
near 50 (yes, very close to the 40s!) for interior locations to
the lower 60s near the coast.
