That actually makes around 50 chickens along with 20 ducks. The good news is the Cornish X is a strictly meat bird that you butcher at 12 weeks. The bad news is I need some much better knives.

The Cornish X runs $3 a bird at tractor supply and $4 at a hatchery like Murray Mcmurray.

Haha I'm honestly surprised they aren't. In all honesty I'm not sure how I'm going to drink this thing since red oak doesn't last as long. I figure I'll blast some mortars off and that will sort itself out.

Hi all, quick question, my storm radar app on my phone has quit working. I'm looking for a new app and need some suggestions. I want something that shows a good resolution radar return, maybe a future cast and a location pin would be a great bonus. My other app was a free app, but I dont mind paying for something if it's good. Been looking through the play store and didn't see anything right off hand I particularly liked, so I thought I'd ask you guys for some suggestions :). TIA!

Radar scope or radar omega are the best paid versions. I can't really speak for what's free but I'm sure there are good ones out there
 
Too bad they aren't legal to buy in NC. Neighboring states made a killing cause people spent some money on these fireworks.

Anyone here ever travel on Amtrak Train? I leave tonight from Columbia SC going to Ft Lauderdale. My first time on Amtrak. Going to visit son

Not sure what to expect with train delays due to Elsa. This train is the Silver Star 91 which actually goes over to Tampa before coming back East to Pam beach and ft Lauderdale. Train is running today as it left New York on time earlier today.

just didn’t know if when we get to around Jacksonville in morning if Tampa area looks bad will they just delay moving forward? Trains have to be as concerned with flooding as high winds. Looks like most weather won’t arrive until later on Tuesday. We should be in Tampa around noon for a 15 minute stop before we head back East. Just trying to mentally prepare

Been a while but I have ridden the Piedmont line from Raleigh to Charlotte and it’s enjoyable , seats are comfortable and large . Train cars clean. I like the family seating .
 
SouthernWx has two active ghosts (@Ghost in SC and @ghost1 in AL). This is quite the haunted BB. Beware as they have the SE surrounded! :eek:

Being sore is awesome , makes for some great sleep and massaging sore muscles is the best feeling ever . I’m nearly always sore . Literally almost every day of the year I am sore !
