Observations Which would you prefer

95/72 over 36/36
36 and rain =
Stay inside and most likely whine about a setup that could of been
Your stuck inside
95/72 =
1. most likely big cape
2. Good exercising weather/good weather to push yourself (stay hydrated ofc !)
3. Pool time
4. Ladies
5. Going back to 1., can get some nice thunderstorms with that sort of temp/dp
6. Beaches
7. Can actually enjoy outdoor activities, like grilling
8. Way better weather for mood, 36 and rain is literally depressing
9. Maybe better for C19

Yep ! Who wants to sit inside all day away from every other human ! Booo 36/36 ! Boo! Literally miserable temp. The summer sun is invigorating , and inviting . Now if the pesky Canadian vortex would piss off and we could get more normal 60s and 70s with a couple 80s as what is expected in March and not 33/32 I’ll be happy . This winter has been horrible I literally feel the exhaustion my body has from the weather . Warm weather recharges cold weather is a drain .

I guess for me, I just like the weather to match the season we are in. Personally I can’t stand a 70 degree day during the winter, but I equally hate a cloudy 75 degree day during the summer. I guess one of the reasons for this is that I have a lot of friends who are berry and peach farmers and to be honest those guys have had it rough the last few years... the torches that we’ve seen in late January and February causing early blooms only to be followed by the inevitable March cold snap and hard freeze has really hurt agriculture around here the last few years. At least this year we’re coming to the end of February without the peach trees budding.

Yeah I hate this winter, it’s killed me as well, both mentally and physically, during the summer I’m just better physically and mentally

That is true, however, both of the things you mentioned would be pretty typical things to expect in our seasons. The average coldest June high for example is 73, 79 for July I think. I agree about the farmers, however. Peaches also need lots of cooling hours which is kind of marginal already here. It's a tough business. Fruits in general are just tough it seems. Tobacco is so much simpler!

I no doubt about getting the typical cooler day in summer and the mild day in winter. The thing that’s killed the peach and berry farmer around here was the 2-3 week spells of 70 degree weather everyday followed by the hard freezes.

For me with regard to exercise, I’m going to do the same thing for either 36 with rain or 95/72: stay inside and do the treadmill. So, they obviously both suck in that regard.

Give me the last couple of days and what’s upcoming on most of this week’s dry days but instead have them occur much more often year round than they do and I’d be happy as a clam for outdoor opportunities. Highs in the 50s-60s, lows of 30s-mid 40s with dewpoints in the 20s-low 40s.

I’m going outside shortly for another enjoyable walk.

Yeah I mean from Montgomery I can see a storm in Birmingham or Dothan if I'm in the right location and the conditions are perfect. One evening while I was waiting to clock in at a commissary at the AFB here, I even saw a cumulonimbus way out in east AL and west GA. I can deal with the heat if it means we get scattered storms.
 
This feels like one of those drink a bottle of poison or take a gunshot to the head type questions. Both are horrible, but.......I'll take the cold rain. I may be a native southerner, but I freakin' can't stand heat and humidity.

You can easily have all of that with weather 10-20 degrees cooler lol, plus number two is easier and you won't risk giving yourself heatstroke.
 
I don’t understand why people are picking the option where you literally can’t go outside because it’s freaking raining over the option where the only thing stopping you from going out is it will be hot and you’ll sweat. Blows my mind. I like doing stuff outdoors, so this isn’t even a debate for me, it’s as clear as day.

Exactly lol, it’s just a little heat, with hot weather there’s many options, with rain and cold there’s no options
