Looking off early maps CMC May come in with a stronger wedge
Hopefully it extended to 500mb

1044 hp is a nudge futher north on 0z Canadian than 0z gfs. This will be uglier than today for several folks unless this qpf is overvestimated. See this trending to sc/nc line as Thursday approaches.
UK doesn’t really show anything

12gfs looks 0z euroish. The 33 degree rain streak will add another w to the win column. What a streak
You just wait till 18z or it may take until 0z and it’ll be back with lights out again! I really think there will be ice in favored CAD areas Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Best chance will probably be the same the spots that just got hit the hardest with this last bout of ice.

I’m starting to think the icon is cold biased lol
Certainly aggressive with LL cold in the D3-5 range

Not that I want an ice storm but given this may be our last hurrah at any wintery, I guess I am game? Any chance we could make this a snow/sleet storm? I am guessing not giving the shallow pool of warm air. But one can hope, right?

I want to question the temps, but I blew off the last one because of temps and look where that got me.
