Well here we go, there’s some uncertainty ATM with with this but the 12z euro does show wind fields supportive of some more potent severe weather and some low but more than enough cape

I like keeping em separate, so we’re not getting svr and wintry posts all mixed up
I thought about it then I saw this happening:

Poster B gets mad about it not being a snow post and makes a comment
Poster C responds to B
A quotes C
B quotes A and C
D jumps in
And the next thing you know there are 15 posts and someone is breaking out mom jokes

Anything to support severe with this over traditional "Dixie alley" or is this mainly for areas further east

Oh my goodness, NAM shifted west bigly with severe parameters, but geez this wind shear is absolutely insane, and these soundings barely have contamination, this is some outrageous stuff

The 0z 12km NAM taken at face value here in the Carolinas & VA is showing a tornado outbreak on Xmas Eve.
