Would you be ok with people walking around nude because they don't like being dictated to about having to wear clothes? Where do you draw the line?

That's a great gotcha question right there, well done sir. You know there are some moral connotations surrounding walking around without clothes on, that I can't discuss in here because you know we have to keep "religion" out of the political thread. But to answer your question, I'd draw the line on everyone walking around nude.

Government never, I mean never, gives back what they take away..... it's a slow but steady chisel of our freedoms. Enjoy them while we have them

This is incorrect. It is only illegal to wear a mask for the purpose of concealing your identity......think of a bike rider in the winter with a full face mask. Or a deer hunter trying to stay warm. They were not breaking any laws by wearing face mask to stay warm. We are not subverting that law now either unless you intend to commit a crime and conceal your identity.

Does anyone think this coming down is a bad thing? The statue wasn’t erected til 1896, which was 46 years after he died. Thus guy was extremely pro slavery: “In the 1830s, Calhoun had reportedly called slavery a ‘positive good’ and argued that slaves in the South were better than free Blacks in the North.”

This statue is a lot worse than the other mainly because he was a pretty rough guy when it came down to slavery and one of the politicians on both sides at that time who started the road to war. The thing that aggravates me with taking it down is it shouldn’t be left to councils, state legislatures, or the federal government it should be voted on by the people in that city or county. It’s the same way with Mississippi and it’s flag the state legislature shouldn’t decide if the flag is changed it should be left up to the people to vote on to decide if it should be changed or not.
 
People sick of government dictating there lives. It will be a hell of a lot worse if Biden wins in November. Freedom will be taken away as we know it. And Government will own and control each and every one of us. We will just be another number! Those that want Biden be careful what you wish for!

Wearing a mask does conceal your identity, that's why the law reads (this is the part you left out) "enter, or appear upon or within the public property of any municipality or county of the State, or of the State of North Carolina."

Of course it doesn't cover a hunter wearing a mask in the woods, sheesh.

While committing a crime. Let's use our thinking caps.
 
Screw Roy Cooper, now we are looking at opening gyms past mid July ! How does California beat us to this? I know for fact at this point gyms won’t listen. Lots of my friends are already getting into gyms that are saying screw this order.

Roy Cooper will be gone this November . That self serving , spineless , butt wipe.

14-12.8. Wearing of masks, hoods, etc., on public property.

No person or persons shall in this State, while wearing any mask, hood or device whereby the person, face or voice is disguised so as to conceal the identity of the wearer, enter, or appear upon or within the public property of any municipality or county of the State, or of the State of North Carolina. (1953, c. 1193, s. 7.)

I know the statute but OBVIOUSLY to some, That will no longer be able to be enforced due to current events
 
Let's see.... arrest those who pray in front of an abortion clinic for violating stay at home orders, protect those that burn down businesses and loot, kowtow to those that destroy public property, try to take away my guns and then push to defund the police.

Yeah something is seriously askew within our Country, God help us

There will never be a time I give up my guns. If they come to my door I’ll simply deny them when they look for them they won’t be able to find them.

I sure hope no truly deadly easy to catch virus comes along because it'll be folks who want their stupid freedom that will get us all killed.

This virus is not going to do that but 1 could come along anytime. Go watch part 1 of "The Stand" to see what I'm talking about.

I’m basically a local! My father in law owns a cottage less than a block off the beach! Cooper emailed me back and said “Jimmy keep doing your thing. No mask requirements for you and yours.”
