surprisingly allergies haven't been a big deal for me this year. I've had some mild symptoms on very rare occasion but that's it.

Although I'm still not sure if some of my worse symptoms where we weren't sure was from a virus or allergies. I think allergies because my colds usually didn't have this specific symptom. There have been some springs where my left eye would tear up so bad I'd be more comfortable closing it. And that sometimes would be the only symptom I'd have, and that kind of symptom is extremely annoying.

Wow what's got into me, lol. I guess I'll keep my mouth shut for now on

I'm in the process of buying a house, God has been good to us and this will be my first purchase of a home. I've always rented but tired of throwing my money away. Please pray that everything will flo good.

There are still two threads for the 22nd to 24th severe threat. Can a mod combine them and delete one?

I watched a little of the rerun of A&E Live PD (2/23/19 episode), and when they showed the one in South Carolina, I swear I saw what looked like a mini-funnel cloud in the background from a distance. I was like "is that a tronado?"

I saw last night’s Live PD with the hosts at their homes and the one guy threatening to spread the virus by spitting at cops. Sickening! I think he was found to not have corona fortunately.

Im watching Live PD. Its a new episode (04.18.20). They are in SC and the sun is shining bright. It can't be that bright at 9pm.

Is it just me or does it seem kind of silly for Mike Seidel to be wearing a mask outside when theres no one around him other than a photographer ?

Wearing a mask outside is silly regardless of what you’re doing unless you have allergies and are cutting grass.

Well if everyone is going to have to wear mask. Maybe people will get creative with them. Like telling govt. and liberals especially to *#%& off! On them. Kinda like bumper stickers.

Your father is MS gelbart ? Holy poop been visiting his site since I was a lil ol 14 year old nerd reading about ice age climate down south. Man is a genius and only source I could ever find that seems to study the paleocology of that era .

yep...he doesn't really write about it anymore but used to a lot. He's always loved nature and still does but it was almost like he had a midlife crisis 10+ years ago and really dove in hard with researching paleoecology to add onto his liking nature. I'm fuzzy on years (think I was 10 or 11) but some of our travels around then began including heading to places where he could potentially have something to research.

Like I remember going to Birmingham for one night just because there was something he wanted to see at their science center. We would've probably all gone in, but we had a terrible time getting the van into what I'm guessing was a parking garage, so it was just my dad that did after he barely eked it out (since he couldn't park there).

I also remember going to Skidaway Island, Georgia Southern's wildlife education area, and Roan Mountain/Bald, and all was related to both the research and being in nature. There's probably a few other cases. I wish he had wrote about our Roan Bald trip, but that was one year before he started his blog.

It's encouraging to see (finally) some light at the end of the tunnel with this reopening plan. But if public pools, water parks, etc are going to open in time for Memorial Day weekend, we're going to have to go through those 3 phases FAST! Unfortunately, I think swimming by the end of May is off the table. :(

I had to look at it twice to make sure I wasn’t seeing things. May crude is now trading at
-$3.70!!!

Lol I've been looking at possible travel destinations this summer (might still be Jocassee Gorges because that area still looks nice to me) and the way crude is going is suggesting (even if its May crude and not June or July crude), that I need to forget it lmao ugh. Crude going THIS bad is almost suggesting we're going to be stuck for several more months yet.

I was laughing when I saw the ticker on TV on one of those business channels. Its ridiculous (most of this is unrelated to stocks).

Who’d like to join me at the bowling alley for some fun this Friday? Afterward, we can go get tattoos. Let me know in this thread if you’re interested. The winner gets a free tattoo of “ Gov Kemp is awesome”!
I'll go as long as I can get a haircut first

I might go get my hair cut in a couple weeks but it might be go and then go home, with me maybe even going by myself.

Otherwise I'm hoping that travel isn't shut down in the summer or even a little over two weeks from now as we might go see family then.

There's nothing in particular with it being a "couple weeks", as I usually can wait a couple months in between cuts.
