I am still baffled that SC and GA refuse to budge when it comes to issuing any sort of orders.
So are most South Carolinians. If you look on social media most people are begging McMaster to shut down everything. Many employers are still making employees come to work at non essential business.
And Governor has the state attorney general say that Columbia’s shelter in place order is illegal that only governor has that power. Hotels are closed but from what I have heard the beaches are still crowded.

Yeah, I saw that. Pure negligence, IMO. I hope you all remember this when November rolls around. Whether you're a Dem, Repub, or Indep.

My own hometown has a similar church, but this one doesn't even try to implement social distancing or sanitizing for the service. Just sad. It's not very loving of others when they gather by the hundreds like that. I'm also a Christian, but we have our church online.

I don't know of a single church around here that hasn't gone online. Maybe some of the smaller ones but it hit the community hard enough that they seem to be taking it serious.

Anywhere being hit hard is already under local orders. I visited my jobsite today and the small towns are empty even with restaurants serving takeout. In Georgia there is a lot of rural resentment towards Atlanta controlling everything. The governor won his seat by carrying the rural counties and letting Abrams take more of the suburbs than normal. He doesn't want to piss off the counties with no population and limited internet when the larger counties can manage themselves.

Those are the only places still out of hand here. I get it that people want to stock up on things to do around the house but it is out of hand. They are starting to enforce the distance better though. My wife went to Publix to replenish some stuff on Sunday and it wasn't bad. Everyone was respectful of distance.

Is this article suggesting that the students got the virus after school opened back up ? How do they know the students haven't had the virus for weeks ?

Ughhhhh... no. The article is saying how irresponsible it is to allow kids to come back right now. The president should be fired and jailed, IMO. But for real, are you for real?

FWIW..be careful buying Wilkes County hand sanitizer. Smells like pure moonshine on me when driving. Surprised it’s at cash registers for kids to use. B78F4FA1-C1E8-4FDE-BB30-207A9200F814.jpeg

Interesting. Slowly seeing another trend, that is on the good side.

Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards said the number of ventilators is the biggest short-term issue related to the state's hospital capacity.

"This is a very, very difficult item to find because everyone is looking for them all at the same time," Edwards said.

In total, Louisiana has 2,749 ventilators, including 650 in the New Orleans region. Edwards said the state distributed 100 ventilators to that region Wednesday and more could be arriving in the coming days and week.

"If our growth continues, we could potentially run out of vents in the New Orleans area in the first week of April," Edwards warned.
