You did go from summer to winter. Well actually you may can shave 10 degrees off what we have now. 45 at night and 65 during the day and you have January weather!

Yeah...no mid 40’s on the horizon quite yet. I’d guess we won’t have too many days in the mid 60’s come January...hopefully.

This pattern is catching my attention, not just the operationals picking up on it, looking like a deep trough/ULL will be somewhere in the central/western US late next week/next weekend, with such a deep and broad ULL like that, wind fields will be screaming, and widespread at that, you also got the Bermuda high cranking in instability/moist airmass, that type of pattern would also cause flooding issues for someone, this look is a little bit ominous but it’s just the gfs, which sucks, something to watch tho E0F70CDD-F986-43B0-90F3-5B7E454263A6.jpegB8AEA045-DAE3-4470-B8FE-CA9C2BBAF996.jpegE9D3D86E-6B0B-4DEE-B7D5-C3FF1D1667C8.jpeg0910D975-339D-46A2-AD92-063FFC9F117D.jpeg5DBC2398-90D1-402D-9340-63D737407E82.jpeg

I mean sure it's still above average but I'll take this and what might happen after a quick cool down next week 10 times out of 10 over it hitting 100 as late of October. The mornings have felt great of late. Afternoons a little warm, but nothing that is stupid.

Euro desperately wants to bring summer back to the eastern Great Lakes towards the end of the month.

Oct is the month that I start looking to for hints of the winter pattern. I sure hope this isnt a sign of things to come. Sure it's not 100 degrees anymore and doesn't feel bad outside but it's still above average and the ridging just wont give up.
