Misc 2019 Banter & Friendly Conservation

Rick Kranitz likely quit the team once he saw how bad the control was with the guys he had to work with. Maybe something legit is going on with his family but that's my tin foil hat theory.

They need a new PC along with a entire new bullpen, I would clean house. There isn’t a single person in that bullpen I would keep over the guys in Gwinnett or even my nephews 9 year old team. It’s embarrassing to watch and I stopped watching.

1. The pitching coach has not been there in a while and this is his first year (where he's been there for what? 10 games?)
2. The organizational philosophy was big stuff, shaky command but we'll "teach" better command under Coppy. Even the guys that are worth something that are down there as relievers struggle with strike throwing.

So yes, Braves are screwed. It appears this year is "we're gonna learn how poorly and out of date the Braves mostly have been at developing pitching." They cleaned house on most of their minor league pitching development iirc. They can't clean house twice in a row so this is where we are now.
 
Kinda Interesting, nothing to worry about and nothing forming, but I like the spin that the models are showing south of FL. Icon would be most aggressive with a low developing up the east coast.

Next time something of named consequence spins up the east coast of FL, or into the Big Bend or Cedar Key, you are truly invited to join me, ride it out, spend the next 7 to 10 days with no A/C or internet, "cook" on a Coleman portable, and during that time clean debris and remove trees without a warm shower following ... just sayin' ...

Old friend SER shows her face this week and I think she will sticks around all summer. Vacations on the gulf coast this year should be fantastic.

I’ve seen 40s for high in summer but limited to foothills. Just need precip and no sun for a few days. and wind. Won’t happen near Charlotte or be widespread however.
 
Currently in the 40s and 50s here locked in a wedge while north-east Tennessee is approaching 80.
 
Oh lately I been I been losing sleep thinking about the snow that I didn't get......
