Yeah I’m getting the feeling the euro may throw out something really good out of nowhere, just feels like it may surprise, usually happens after crappy fv, gfs runs this winter ?

I know one of the most craziest ones this winter was that run back before the dec storm last year where it gave the upstate of sc 2 feet plus of snow, I think webb has it as his pfp ?
 
I know we make jokes about summer etc. but real talk.. we look to have some okay weather soon to start getting a little yard work done etc. its not really a bad thing to get outside a bit more.

sucks we will have to wait till mid feb onward.. but it is what it is. the weather will do what it will do regardless of any forecast or longrange weather model's predicition.

Reason I went to NC to chase down the snow. Because I knew winter was over and wanted to see another good snow. I accomplished that for myself and family. So I’m good with whatever February holds

This JB cat will be last seen stammering “wait til mid April...Wait until May....?ensembles show winter storm first of June...it’s happening, it’s happening ???” I guess if your gonna go, go hard ??‍♂️
 
The pattern change is always past Day 10 until it’s not and a storm thread is started inside Day 10 and folks forget the outside of Day 10 pattern was actually predicted outside Day 10 yet folks keep complaining about patterns being outside Day 10 and not realizing pattern recognition is a skill learned only past Day 10.

Sleep is underrated and I feel sorry for folks with insomnia they’re truly suffering imo. It’s very important for physical and mental health.

All you have to do is look at all the warning signs to know that winter is over. If not announced already I declare the Flambé February! The SER is coming and it'll be here to stay for a good week. That puts us at mid February and I doubt it'll be good from there on. I'm going to stop watching for snow and enjoy the weather that isn't rain.
 
It's hard for me to completely give up until 2/15. By then March 1 will be in view on the ensembles and that's my cut off. If the long range doesn't show hope 2/15 I'm done. Lights out. I have no expectation for good snow after the first couple days of March. If we do get snow then, it's slop that melts as fast as it falls IMO.

Right now, long range still wants to give me a true -NAO mid month. I'm very skeptical, the modeled -NAO is weak sauce and the pacific is not ideal. So we'll see. I'll give it a couple weeks.
 
What's the policy for posting model runs you find on other boards? Don't do it? Give credit to the poster? Or once it's on social media it's fair game? Asking for a friend....:oops:
 
My early backend loaded prediction is that no one outside of WNC sees snow in Feb. They get one big dog and some NW flow events after mid month. Then 2 small nickel and dime events in March with more parts of NC (Raleigh, Greensboro) getting in on the action
