I miss the good old days when a hurricane would pass by and then on the backside you would get cool, dry air sweeping down from the north.

Big amounts of rain on the south side. Been raining steady there all morning. Band of rain just moving over same area steady. Reports of 4 inches in places.

I notice the NHC has Nate in NE Ohio. I dont recall it ever forecast to be that far NW. Seems like they had it tracking through WV.

So you mean to tell me, you are getting more rain from Nate when its in the northeast than you did when it moved through Bama ?

Yep, a quarter of an inch when it was close. 4.6 after it got truckin'. Dragged that feed across and trained.

Just shy of 7 inches of rain here in WNC from Nate. All of it came in about a 10 hour time frame.
