Yea that’s David Goldman. He’s a conservative economist employed by CNN. He also argues in that article that neither Iran nor the US control the Strait, which is probably true. But I really don’t think it means “CNN is now with Trump on oil manipulation.”

Fun fact--Mr Goldman once argued Putin would never invade Ukraine because it didn’t make economic or strategic sense. That was 3 days before the invasion began in Feb 2022. Ironically, I agree that it made no economic or strategic sense so I’ll give him that credit, but man his ultimate conclusion was as wrong as you can get.

oh boy. To be clear this is not a invasion but more proactive actions that are higher risk than the Geran Poland incident back in September of last year.

Apparently it's over.... we've won! Mission accomplished! We must have all their enriched uranium... the regime is defeated... the Iranian people are free and will hold democratic elections... the Strait of Hormuz is open and ships are navigating through with no threat... and gas is back under $2.00 per gallon.

No, Ron, this isn’t vindication for that awful MTG statement:

1. MTG made a nonsensical anti-Semitic statement that “Jewish space lasers” intentionally caused a wildfire in California in 2018 to make room for a high speed rail project. She was absurdly linking this fake news to Jews planning this to spread hatred against Jews. This was so bad in several ways.

2. What does this nonsense have to do with what Israel is planning to do?
-She was referring to 8 years ago
-Her statement was based on anti-Semitism.
-What the current Israeli govt. is planning is not the same thing as “Jews” as a whole planning the same.

Ron should have known better than to post that suggesting vindication for such an horrible hateful thing she said 8 years ago even if he’s doing it tongue in cheek, which is what I suspect.

Here we go again. US struck a IRGC mine rocket (I didn't know that was a thing) and Iran right now is responding with a big wave of missiles.
 
Do you know what's insanity is? Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
 
For the eleventeenth time, The IRGC is firing missiles at US Bases in Jordan
 
Biggest missile attack since the intense hostilities ended in April. 30-35 missiles fired at Jordan.
