Its hard to argue with this. I'm not really sure what the truth about what we accomplished is, and we may likely never know. We eliminated their leadership, only to be replaced by their successors, along with some infrastructure. Now gas has doubled in price. Trump was most certainly lied to by either Israeli intelligence or members of his own cabinet. Iran is no joke. They aren't the average <85 IQ populace like Iraq or Afghanistan. If he really thought they were going to hit us, prepare accordingly and see. If they did, you nuke a city. The MIC thought they were going to roll right into another cash cow.

It's not like we've known since the terror bombings of WWII that wars are not won with air power alone. There's no path to regime change or unwinding the nuclear program without controlling the territory and that ain't gonna happen. The war was lost 72 hours in when they stood up their continuity government.

holy crap @ that iq propaganda.

the war was lost when we didn't arm the iranian people. hell, some weaponry just got outright stolen. kind of like that fast and furious disaster many years ago. never underestimate our ability to f up something so important.

here is what i actually think happened. i think that our bombings of their nuclear facilities months before wasn't as good as we thought. so we deiced to try to give a blow to the irgc when it was obvious they still had everything they needed for nuclear weaponry (or already had a test head). combine that with the fact that they had put out threats on us officials etc....

we expected to go in, fly some planes, win, and it be over.

that was far from the case. this all tracks back to bad intelligence and bs and i still think netanyahu is the reason we are in this mess. not the insraeli people, they're cool, but man, netanyahu.... something isn't right.

charlie kirk started to call out netanyahu towards the end of his life; was not taking up offers to go visit, etc. a lot of things stink with every bit of this.

The problem now is that the US is probably at one of its weakest positions ever.

Years of inflation and poor economic comditions that's strained the working class. No support from our allies(there shouldn't be this wasn't a fight they wanted) And our allies in ME growing angrier at their nation's being targeted.

Scarier aspect is if the nation's holding our debt start selling it off and we really see economic destruction.

Iran knows trump is not into restarting Thus battle and that the war and trump are becoming more and more unpopular

Iran holds the cards
 
I just watched a 60 Minutes interview of Bibi and was semi-shocked at his answer to Major Garrett’s Q regarding whether or not the current $3.8B annual aid from the U.S. should be reexamined. His answer: absolutely yes. He said he’d like to start immediately having it reduced and aid be at $0 by no later than 10 years from now!

The Qs by Garrett were pretty tough/not at all softball.

Thoughts? Is he just BSing? I don’t trust him at all based on his past, especially his lies of insisting for decades that Iran is very close to having nuclear wespons.

Other than Fox and NewsMax every interview is more like an interrogation for any Rep on CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN , MSNBC, and NPR.

No we hold the cards but Trump isnt going to play them. He is playing Poker with 4 aces and is going to fold to a pair.

They should be like an interrogation in all interviews regardless of whether they’re con or lib, GOP or Dem, etc. I wanted Bibi to be asked the toughest Qs and I wasn’t disappointed. Garrett was tough and I was glad.

I think Bibi was his often deceptive self in saying he wanted US aid to end within 10 years along with reductions starting now. He cannot be trusted. It’s likely a “misdirection” scheme. He’s very effective in throwing people off because of his eloquence in communicating.

He should have asked him about the dead Isreali hostages that were killed by the IDF.

One of the IDF soldiers suggested to the mother of one of the hostages the reason they fired were orders to shoot ALL men on site armed or not. The soldier apparently said the orders were to use their discretion when shooting women and children

It goes up and down and always will so can’t be bothered too much. Once the oil guys get their heads out of their own asses prices should drop. If you look at real supply and demand it shouldn’t be this high right now but you say war and they see excuses.

If nothing changes gas prices will be close to double what they are now in 2-3 months. IF you can even find it. We have about 60 days of reserves left and when that is gone it'll get crazy.
 
I know it's hard to see or hard to believe but this war is ultimately about peace on this planet and we have to achieve it. Having fought in two wars for over a dozen years to achieve NOTHING, I can assure you that what is being done here is known in great detail to only a few. High gas sucks, I know but fighting endless wars with young men and women is far worse. We have the technology now to put a stop to all of it but unsafe places need to be made safer before we can get to moving forward. Just think about it.......
