Misc This Means WAR

$200 to fill the work truck up with diesel this afternoon. We do residential utility work and are about to impose an added mobilization fee. Consumer is about to feel this one. Y’all get ready
The damn trash company did that back around 2008! It’s 🐂 💩! The bill was 45$ for 3 months and they tacked on a 25$ fuel surcharge!!!!! We are already paying the high prices just like everybody else! Cancelled that day! ---- waste management!
Rant over!
Sorry I had a flash back

There's a difference in pushback and administering a false narrative. That Cronkite moment ripped our country in half at the worst time possible. I'm not defending decisions to go into Vietnam / justify etc. Was a major & costly mistake. Wrong everyway you slice it.

But to explicitly report false news to sway public opinion still happens to this day/ more so. A practice that's as old as time, especially as technology has increased starting with TV, now the world wide web. Legacy media is the worlds worst propogandist out there. They are suppose to be held to a higher standard than some one-off doing a podcast on you tube, x etc. Just report the facts. Actually investigate/research, before popping off on matters. AKA Journalism. It always has been and will be about controlling and formulating the narrative for legacy media. Like 90%+ of all legislative politicians they are bought for, paid by and controlled by the quote establishment/ Deep State.
I never take anything they say, even cable news networks, Fox included as truth, until I sift it , discern it, verify myself. The only value of what they report, is to go see for myself, if it its actually legit/truth. Before I take their word for it.

It's a shame you have to do that, but they all unmasked themselves/ tossed their own credibility and have only themselves to blame.
The problem is you have to know how to search for the information. I worked online for a company and we had different task for various companies that hired them. We worked in groups with a moderator. My daughter also worked for them. They had a chat box on the side that you could see as you worked. My daughter and I never used chat unless we had a question. You got a tic if you didn't do enough queries or did not have the "correct" answer. You could challenge a marked incorrect, but were not able to show why you thought your answers were correct. The rest of the group were always on chat talking about kid and other things yet always met the times and number correct. We kept getting knocked off for not having the same answers as the other 6 or 7 in the group. Moderator had been promoted from the group. The final straw was an assignment to see if a query had the correct response. We were told that a good response should have the 1st five be correct and robust answers. The others would look and see it mentioned what was asked, but never looked to see if the information was correct. My daughter & I would look for government sites and trusted sites to verify it. I got kicked off about the number of gun deaths somewhere. I went to several statistics sites and saw not one of the five had correct information and was off by a lot. The moderator saw the other 6 people who she was chatting with marked it as right and I was kicked off , not because I was wrong, but because the other 6 marked it right and they took it as right without looking at the proof it was wrong. In July 2016 AJC had an article about The Clinton Foundation had not reported large donations from foreign countries including Qatar. Someone on FaceBook wanted a link I had the newspaper in hand with the date, title of the article and page. After trying Clinton Foundation not reporting foreign donations for 3 years only got Trump won't show taxes I put the exact title date and page of AJC and still only got Trump taxes. I tried the archives of the AJC with the date title and page of the article and it did not come up. I had to leave out the title and go to the date and page of the article. IF I had not had the paper in hand ,I never would have found it at that time. I laugh at people who insist they are right because they Googled it

The average price for a gallon of gasoline during Joe Biden's term has been approximately
$3.45 to $3.60 per gallon!
At one point the national average under Biden was $5 .No one was driving anywhere during COVID and he emptied the reserves that artificially lowered gas prices. Oil was $25 a barrel under Trump because of this and Congress blocked Trump from filling the reserves with cheap oil.

It was $5/gallon initially right after Russia invaded Ukraine. Then the Biden Administration released oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. They didn’t do it during the heart of Covid.

Indeed, it is true that the gas prices we are seeing today aren’t any worse than portions of the Biden Administration, but if the war continues and little oil gets through the Straits of Hormuz, I’d expect prices to continue to rise. Moreover, Trump ran on affordability and gas prices were one of the things he could point to to brag about his success there (given not much else has really become more affordable). Now, that’s gone.

Correct. What Trump is trying to do is solve a problem but sometimes you have to bulldoze a school to build a road.

But not as many, not so dangerous. And just maybe they will be gone
Hopefully they go, but realistically they will not. It would take an operation bigger than Desert Storm in 1991 to get it done. It's not possible because if we try it Russia and China will jump in and then all bets are off. If they did go, they would just hide and take it back in 10 years or so. Look at Afghanistan for how this would play out.

Starting to kill the street level thugs. End of the regime is near

The IDF and US forces delivered precision strikes, surgically dismantling Basij checkpoints in the heart of Tehran's streets, the very thugs who beat, arrest, and shoot protesters every single night. No civilian casualties. Just clean, targeted operations. And the people? They're not hiding. They're back on the rooftops, voices shaking the city:"Marg bar Basij!" (Death to Basij!)"Marg bar dictator!" (Death to the dictator!)The regime's own enforcers are being eliminated while the people cheer from the rooftops. The fear is gone.
