Kevin Hassets comments should be played over and over again. Gas prices soaring prices on everything else will be next and all he can say is that it "won't effect our economy just consumers and really but really that's last on our minds right now"

I managed to snag gas for $3.69 including tax yesterday, lucky as the station I went to is on a slight delay compared to the same brand right near a link to the interstate.

I think it's fair to talk about the impact of diesel here. There may still be time to change the narrative, but @Jimmy Hypocracy drove by and warned that it's already having an impact with his company a couple weeks back.

I work for construction company and we're paying over $5 a gallon. Not good and that reflects on our pricing for customers. Not to mention delivery cost for food everything this country depends on 18 wheelers.
 
I’ve had a company truck and fuel card for 12 years and they just switched to an allowance the day before prices went up.
