IMO, Memphis has the best chance for a huge overperformance so it makes sense to hedge bets there. No other city really has as large of a range of an overperformance and since only one person can win, may as well just go big on Memphis so if it does overperform, I put myself in a better position to win it all. If it busts low, I wasn't likely going to win anyways. If I had to actually bet real money, different story.

The Mississippi River and Memphis heat island? Well, we're heading into night and there's plenty of snow on the way; I'll enjoy seeing what happens more than if I had bid lower, so no regrets.
