What's going on behind the scenes with UNC Football? Eleven players have hit the transfer portal including several defensive starters and Phil Longo the offensive coordinator is leaving for Wisconsin. To be honest though, as bad as the UNC defense was this year the defensive players jumping ship may be a blessing in disguise for them.

It might work out better for them down the road but there a sinking ship over there right now. I don't blame them for not wanting to go down with it. Writings been on the wall for quite some time now. If Drake Maye didn't get that big NIL deal and didn't have ties to the school I would say he would would have jumped ship also.

Dansby Swanson is signing with the Cubs for 7/177. Hate to see him leave Atlanta, but I would have hated Atlanta spending that much to keep him, especially when they have the much younger, much cheaper, and equally capable Vaughn Grissom to fill the role.

Is Vaughn any kin to Marquis Grissom who played in the early 90s?

I would not say equally capable. Grissom is good, but he has a lot to learn. There is a reason Dansby is worth that much money.
 
Only Dallas can lose the game on this play to a pick 6 run back 60 yards. As a Dallas fan we come to expect this...but how does that happen. ?
