Really sounds like the NBA playoffs are about to get cancelled. Simply unreal that they're going to do this and it's going to be social justice related instead of COVID related.
Kinda mildly concerned that there are about to be some MLB problems as well with the rumblings I've seen.

My question is: will games after today be cancelled or will they start playing again?
The real question is how bad does this tank ratings and how many fans simply don't come back if/when they resume. The nba already had significantly lower ratings

I don't think most college football teams that play this year would do what you're seeing pro teams do, but, just a little bit of a warning, even the players on Southern teams likely align to the views that some of these players that are leading this, right or not.
Back on topic, needless to say, with the things that I'm doing now, if the NBA does go for now for SJW reasons, I won't miss it. Hopefully, MLB doesn't follow.

I will never understand why teams from Georgia choke so much. It's like it's an infectious disease. Falcons, Braves, Bulldogs. How can there be that much choking in one state ?

Am I the only one shrugging shoulders over the NBA potentially canceling the season? Why don’t they keep playing and donate the remaining salary and playoff earnings to the victims family and community activists groups? Ohhhh it’s just political.

Makes me wonder just how far this ends up going. I mean, are we soon going to start seeing pro sports athletes riot in the streets too?

I think this turned into something the Bucks didn’t really want. They postponed their game tonight first and everyone else followed suit. Then later in the night as the season hung in the balance, the Bucks voted to continue the season.
Braves won both games of the double header with the yanks last night. Anderson and Fried looked great (...starting pitching only Braves weakness). Going off what you all are talking about, I was initially afraid the second game was going to be canceled.
Manchester City or PSG. I see a MC reunion with Pep Guardiola in the cards. Inter Milan doesn’t have the capital right now to afford him because I don’t think Barcelona will outright let him go. They are going to ask a kings ransom in a transfer fee for whoever wants him. I heard rumors about Miami’s MLS team, but they don’t have the money to make that happen either. He won’t come to MLS until he’s got maybe two good years of playing time left and he’s really of no use to a team in Europe. I would really like to see him go to my Red Devils, but unfortunately I don’t think Manchester United are interested.

I got a question for you NC sports guys. I found a map of MLB fan bases the other day showing that the eastern half of NC was Nationals territory. I had always assumed that was Braves country. Are any of y’all Nats fans?
No, but if the Braves lose this game tonight, after being up 10 runs, I'll have to re-consider (...just kidding).
