National Weather Service office in Birmingham.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Temperatures drop below freezing for northern portions of Central
Alabama tonight. A freeze warning is in effect from 4 AM to 8 AM.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Severe weather is possible early Saturday morning. Main concerns will
be damaging winds a few brief tornadoes.
Another round of cold weather expected Saturday night into Sunday
morning. Near or below freezing temperatures are possible.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Activation of storm spotters and emergency management may be needed
Saturday.
