Severe Severe Weather Threat 7/20 - 7/21

Quick question... How accurate is Radarscope when it pops up a TVS icon in the middle of a storm? I dozed off last night and I think it was about 3:30am I woke up to crazy lightning and my power going out. When I looked at Radarscope a storm near Collegedale, TN moving Southeast showed TVS on several scans.

SPC's Day 1, with Slight expanded... Think they are covering bases or really concerned... With how it "feels" outside now here, I 'm trending towards concern for 5pm to 1 am local

CAPE is building in AL and areas that got hit this morning. Up to around 4500 at one spot in the northern part now. If storms are going to develop they will probably need until this evening to get started.

WRAL saying we could have some storms later tonight and overnight here. Seems like the severe threat has died down, though.
