I’m shocked and very sorry to read this. He had a short but hopefully happy life, and hopefully he’ll have a much better life in the next world. May Tyrese rest in peace.

This is completely unbelievable and horrific. Thank you for letting us know and many thoughts and prayers for this young mans family.

Oh man that’s awful. Always liked it when his area had a chance at some snow. He did get to see a rare snowfall this year. He loved some snow and it didn’t matter what the forecast trends were for his area bc he was going to hold out hope til the last minute. Tough news here

Obituary For Mr. Tyrese Lawson​



Funeral services for Mr. Tyrese Najae Lawson, 25, of Summerton, SC, will be held 2:00pm, Monday, April 21, 2025, at St. Philip RMUE Church, 4574 Old River Road, Pinewood, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Lawson passed away Monday, April 14, 2025.

There will be no public viewing.

Family and friends may visit 1102 Detwiler Street, Summerton or call Simmons Funeral Home of Santee.

Online condolences may be expressed at www.simmonsfuneralhome.com

I am heartbroken to read this. I specifically remember that he was a respectful poster and I tried to answer his questions when he asked me specifically. This is a terrible tragedy and I will have his friends, family and loved ones in my prayers.

I'm just now seeing this and it really sucks! I always enjoyed his extra enthusiasm when his area might get a little something frozen. May he rest peacefully now and I pray for comfort and grace for his friends and family. Takes a low down scum of the Earth to take an innocent life!
