Zero wins since he started in 2012 I think it was. Dude lucky to still have a seat.

He’s 26 dude he didn’t start in 2012 he started truck series in 2013 and cup in 2017.

These guys must be lucky to have a seat too:

Suárez zero wins since 2017
DiBenedetto zero wins 2015
Ryan Preece zero wins 2015
Ty Dillion zero wins 2014
Joey Gase zero wins 2014
LaJoie zero wins 2014
McDowell zero wins 2008

I agree 100% dude. Most of those drivers will be replaced. The only guys with a chance is Benedetto who is talented. Ty Dillion well we know why he will stay around.

.

Maybe, maybe not. You can certainly change perspective over time.

What my comment was addressing is changing the name of Aunt Jemima isn’t erasing history, it still happened. Removing confederate statues doesn’t erase history, you can go to a museum and learn all you want about the confederate side. No history is erased or deleted.

NASCAR is stupid so I don’t care if any of them race. Bunch of air pollution and noise so that people can watch high speed car wrecks.

It's not actually erased in real life. But the point is, until a few days ago, when people thought of Aunt Jemima, they thought of good syrup. Now, they don't. History wasn't literally erased, but the result is just as bad, if not worse in some respects.

It's amazing the incremental creep of ideology that we are willing to accept because "it just really isn't that big of a deal". The pot boils before you're even aware of it, and eventually something that you actually do care about is irrevocably changed.

Thank YOU Nashville mayor John Cooper... a 34 percent property tax increase! I wonder just what Nashville is going to be like in about 5 years!

What about people living in poverty that can’t afford that property tax! That’s to much

Over the next few years, my guess is that you're going to see a significant increase in taxes and other fees/duties/surcharges (clever connotations for taxes) on all kinds of things across all levels of government. Given the economic downturn ahead, it is going to be nearly impossible for that not to happen.

Then your gonna have more homeless people. And people in poverty

There hasn't been a unifier since Reagan and I wouldn't expect one going forward. This is why I refer to myself not as a conservative or independent but a REALIST. This is why Trump doesn't get under my skin. I had many CO's in my 20+ years of service. The best leaders were hardcore, assholes or both. I left this soil to fight a war and I'll be damned if I didn't come back to another one. If that's the way its going to be, I will put up with the biggest SOB we can muster to battle these crazy F'd up people on the left. MY COUNTRY is worth it to me!

THIS GUY !!! Patton

From my understanding, if there weren't an election (there's about a 0.00000000000000000001% chance of that happening), I think it'd actually be Nancy Pelosi at least temporarily, which I know 95% on this board would deeply despise even if it was temporary.

But there's going to be an election. We're unlikely to have them stop about the virus unless there's another major distraction to stop them again, maybe even after the election (yeah, sorry), but we're going to be a true disaster zone if they have to suspend the election.

I'm voting in person in November unless it's just not allowed though. If I have to wear a mask to, so be it. It shouldn't take long though for me to go in person. Would've loved to have gone in person to see what the new stuff looked like weeks ago, but since I already had an absentee ballot I just filled that out.

I don’t think it could be Nancy as all the house seats are up for election too, so if no election then there wouldn’t be a house technically.

Are we really afraid, I think its just more aware that others may see this as gendered or racially bias...I am not afraid to say master bedroom but if I was selling my house and I thought that by using that term I may prevent a potential buyer I would use something different.

I think you guys are worrying to much about what might happen....the fact is you can still call it a master bedroom all you want, the words are not being outlawed or censored, nor is your speech being controlled...its just that realty agents and builders are removing the term to be more inclusive, and to prevent the chance that someone might choose to go with someone else because they do not like the term master. Again I don't see the big deal, when they pass a law making the term master bedroom illegal to use get back to me.

You're still missing the point.

I'm not personally afraid to say master bedroom, but apparently these marketers are. But yes, people are afraid to use lots of words now because they don't want to be unfairly labeled or lose a job for no real reason. Words may not be outlawed at this point but they are certainly being punished if deemed a certain way which is definitely a form of censorship.

For the bold; I just see this so differently. I can't think of anything exclusive about the phrase "master bedroom." It just means it is the main one; like "master key or "master switch." If someone truly sees that as exclusive, divisive, or racist then they are truly searching (hard) for something to be offended by. Can we really live our lives and communicate with other humans if we are worried that every single word we say might possibly offend someone or be a word they don't like? This is beyond ridiculous.

Is there a link to an article about this? Just curious.

We need to start testing the water supply for high levels of estrogen.....

You jest but there is actually something to this. Our water systems contain all kinds of chemicals and are known to be tainted with decades worth of pharmaceuticals and hormone replacements.

I don't know how much you can enforce patrons of a restaurant to wear masks, but the employees should darn well wear one.

Yeah, makes it awfully hard to get that food in there! ?

Never mind, I found it. I found it odd that a mayor and council could just vote in a property tax increase. In Alabama and many other states, it has to be a ballot item voted on by the citizens.

10 years from now who knows , perfect time to place this masterpiece of comedy that rings true oh so much today. ------ becomes mentally handicapped because ------ is insulting . What about when mentally handicapped starts being used as an insult... it’s all words grow up people.

“ American language is loaded with euphemisms because Americans have trouble dealing with reality. Americans have trouble facing the truth so they invent a kind of a language to protect themselves from it and it gets worse with each generation . For some reason it keeps getting worse “ this was George freaking Carlin who by most standards would be liberal... way back in the 90s

You have nailed it with this post. We do this with other things as well, like euphemisms for death and body parts. However, this phenomenon of becoming offended by words today, that were completely fine yesterday, is a cultural disease. It is a serious symptom of us having completely lost the ability to take responsibility for our own feelings and regulate our own emotions. It's also a side effect of the "feelings over rationality" movement we've been in for quite sometime.

"Someone else is always to blame for my feelings, and my feelings are all that matters. So how dare them and they must change. My feelings will only get better when they change and make me feel better." Is it any wonder such people always feel victimized?

I remember reading once that the board game Monopoly was banned in Russia as it was seen as a propaganda instrument to capitalism, which was seen as evil. Any parallels?

Look I get it, heck calling it the master bedroom has only been around for 50-60 yrs but frankly things change and this is hardly a big deal on any level.....or let me ask you this are you offended that realty companies and home builders are choosing to use terms other than "Master" when referring to the largest bedroom in a home? I just don't see why you or anyone else should care AT ALL if as company chooses to use a different term......but obviously at this point we are beating a dead horse.

I dont like the reason why they are.

No, I'm not offended at all. But I am a bit frustrated by the course of our culture in this regard. This may be just one small word that doesn't matter much, but its a perfect example of incremental progression. When taken into context with all the other things we have discussed it becomes the death of a thousand paper cuts. How do I know that I won't wake up tomorrow or next month to find another word that I use regularly is now considered inappropriate, color blind, insensitive, or downright offensive? What about colors I wear or songs I listen to or movies I watch? Surely you understand what I am saying. When does it end? When will the offended no longer be offended?

Another example of pandering. This is pretty ridiculous.

“The L'Oreal Group has decided to remove the words white/whitening, fair/fairness, light/lightening from all its skin evening products," the company said in a statement.”

Political correctness run amok. That's why everybody is against. It never ends and it's time to take a stand against such stupidity.
