Tropical Odette

Nice naked swirl racing off to the west at the moment. If that becomes the defined LLC that may bring it back closer to the coast because there's not much N movement to it at the moment.

Yikes on the icon it misses the escape out to sea. EURO and CMC go to 980mbs south of Canada. GFS also showing the miss out to sea. Wouldn’t it be something if it pulled another Henry on Road Island?

Plenty of impacts for the OBX and some spreading west of there into NC. I believe it will get a name in a few days. May be absorbing a little of Nicholas dead soul? F3F4CEC8-AAD0-4A7E-AFF1-6211F089F174.jpeg

NHC will initiate advisories on Tropical Storm Odette, located off the U.S. mid-Atlantic coast, at 500 PM EDT (2100 UTC).

Before anyone says fish the EURO/CMC/ICON all show it possibly hitting land in Canada and or getting lost in the steering currents with erratic s/w movement with possible influences from tropical waves should they development. But largely out to sea yes but a little uncertainty does exist.
