23 this morning
Is that the one at the winery?
Yep. Been coming here for 15+ yearsIs that the one at the winery?
Originally had us at a low of 24 a few days ago so it was close to that first call.Wayyyyy undershot the forecast lows ILM gave us last night. Got lucky we didn't have any pipe issues since nothing was wrapped yet. I'd planned to do that today. We bottomed out just a hair under 24 degrees on the calibrated PWS with the very dry soils in place. They had us pegged at 30 I think.
Wouldn't be surprised if we hit that again tonight. The Yankees down here for the holiday are angry. I would be too if I got sold a peninsular Charleston climate in a vacation package only to realize Horry county gets MUCH colder.
I thought you were supposed to get a big snowstorm. This is the warmest we're gonna be for a few days around 50 right now
Today is yeah the much hyped dry Arctic front here. Tomorrow and Monday will struggle to the mid 30s
Maybe some moisture on Monday afternoon evening if we're lucky
I'm in Nashville and it was upper 40s and for 5 minutes it's sleeted then turned the rain.About 90 percent sure that a shower on the north side of ATL metro gave me a 20 second period of wintery mix (10:50pm) as I could hear it hitting the grass and bushes before quickly changing to mist. Could not visually confirm the event on an elevated surface from how transient it was, so basing this assumption off the sound and the large flakes/drops/pieces of precipitation falling that were larger than drizzle.
Nah. As soon as the calendar flips, everything is going to change. Our "winter storm" tomorrow now has at least a 70 percent chance it doesn't even snow.
Hope this is not a trend for December
