Are there other boards for the south, or are folks in TX etc just not as interested in weather?
one of the OGs@ncjoaquin in Asheville was #200 to be added!
Yup Jason is the man.one of the OGs
We are averaging 400-500 online per day right nowI'm guessing 200 is a small percentage of total members which is probably why there are some gaps and some cities may seem emptier.
@SD @Rain Cold any idea how many total members the board has?
I'm in Mooresville, just down past the Shop N Saveme and @griteater are the only lake norman peeps. For some reason I was surprised by that. @wow man, you're in Mt. Ulla, own that man. You're not in Mooresville lol.
Just shy of 3000, it looks like.I'm guessing 200 is a small percentage of total members which is probably why there are some gaps and some cities may seem emptier.
@SD @Rain Cold any idea how many total members the board has?
Nope, I live in Maiden, just south of Hickory.@Cad Wedge NC I always thought you were deeper in the foothills for some reason
Based on the given map this board should be called either the Sunbelt Weather Forum, or the I-85 Weather Experience.Happy New Year everyone! Another update to start off 2025.

There's someone in Maine.gonna be honest. did not expect to be the northernmost member. i know tarheel1 is in iowa but generally his threats will be divorced from ours. come on folks. it is a shorter distance from raleigh to richmond than raleigh to charlotte. and in 10 years a much shorter train ride too!
out of principal, i believe richmond is the south by virtue of being the former capital of the confederacy
what is my north vs south line? personally i think it's fredricksburg.
I'm the Mainer! I use to live in GA but left after covid. I have had less snow than expected since I moved but also the same with severe weather, which is fine by me. With family and friends still in the south, I value this board a lot! There's someone in Maine.
