Looks like the wind shift/ Good Bye Heat/Rain starts as we head into rush hour over this way. Don't know what Im gonna do when I get home and not have to spend an hour this evening holding the Garden Hose.

It will be a while before we see the sun again after today. Raleigh NWS has a 70-100% Chance of rain here from tonight through next Wednesday ( entire 7 day forecast)

It'll be agonizing depending on storms forming, whereas there will be winners and losers with each round of storms.

Today is going to be painful for some. That like probably isn't going to March across the state and I have a feeling it'll be right along the 64 corridor

I've got .76 inches in the rain gauge at my house which is not far to the southeast of Lake Wheeler in Raliegh. I missed out on the heavier showers here but with the upcoming pattern changes, I am not disappointed. There will be more chances to come during the next few days.

I thought you might have done well last night looking at her radar estimate. At least we have probably 7-8 more days of chances
Just east of me in town of Halifax over an inch, ofb kinda squashed it here and popped the good stuff just to my east. Plenty more opportunities for sure though

NC up into the MidAtl Gonna be drying out here over the next 10 days. SC back into AL/TN should still do pretty well. Good news is the temps will be pretty good as we flip into June/ start of Met Summer. Lot of North flow (NW & NE) for our area coming up. Fast approaching the longest day of the year, before we start heading back in the right direction.

3.44 total here for May. Certainly did not cash in as others did with the extended wet spell. Still way below normal going back to Sept

Pretty good win for us lastnight. Solid 2 hours of moderate rain followed by cool crisp morning today. Have to check my rain Guage when I get home but it poured for quite a while

We missed biggly on the multi day rain event a week ago in my region. Gonna see a lot of leaf stress bust out next few days. Poplars/ pines already showing. Never seen the Ground as parched and dry as it is right now. I Flood the Gardens every evening and these low DP's / desert sun just parch em by the next evening.

Outside of an isolated chance of a pop up shower or thunderstorm next week possibly, most of us are not going to see any precipitation for at least the next ten days it appears. I'm glad I didn't start my vegetable garden this although I am going to miss having home grown vegetables, especially the tomatoes. I might have to grow some tomatoes from flower pots at my residence
