The cold front is faster than forecasted.
How?The euro just threw a wrench dodge ball style on everything.
How?
Well, now they feel how we do in the Midlands of SC we always have a problem with forecasting wintry wx here!!Not for us. It's making a difficult forecast to our West.
Was talking about the storm that will be hitting TN.How?

It appears from this post they are removing most of the northern most MS counties out of the Watch to Advisory criteria except for Desoto which looks to be put under a Warning. From the nws in Memphis![]()

That is significant for there, especially when some of it is ice.I'm looking at the wording from the Memphis NWS regarding the Winter Storm Warning and it says: " Significant snow and ice accumulations will be possible across much of the region." Then it says sleet and snow accumulations will only be 2 inches or less. Seems a little contradictory.
Lol ok. I just figured being in TN they would be a little more used to snow and ice than say a place like Jackson or Birmingham. 2 inches seems rather minimal but I guess because of the ice that is what makes it significant. That is significant for there, especially when some of it is ice.
But how much of that is snow ?Wow, NAM big hit for NW Ala..big improvement

Just by looking at this would that not be enough for warning Criteria where much of the same region is only under an Advisory?Wow, NAM big hit for NW Ala..big improvement

Yes, if they bought that one run of one model, it sure would.Just by looking at this would that not be enough for warning Criteria where much of the same region is only under an Advisory?
Yep. I can't believe heavy backside snow here or in the area with this.
lol, heavy backside snow almost never works out for Atlanta.Euro is showing heavy backside snow in the Atlanta area??

link? where do you view that model at?HRRRX showing a good bit of Snow in North MS
Looks like a new one I believe on Tropical Tidbitslink? where do you view that model at?
If I bought the Euro I'd be all in, but I don't buy the Euro on that. If I see it headed toward my house like that, I'll go back on my word, but I don't see that happening. Cold chasing moisture never happens like that. In addition, the models are advertising a massive warm nose right behind the line, so I don't see any snow happening until that cools down at least.Euro is showing heavy backside snow in the Atlanta area??
