Larry, I'm beyond confused! It's a weird double whammy. I'm late for everything, haven't had enough sleep though apparently I over slept, and it fells like the first cold day of winter outside, after an extended fall. This has to be the Twilight Zone!! I'm expecting werewolves and vampires next!! Oh, wait...hmmm....I think I'm confused over that too. I'm going back to bed, and maybe it will sleet when I wake up! TThe next 5 days as a whole in the SE will average close to the coldest normals, which are in early to mid January for much of the SE.

Kory doesn't post here yet, so whether he does or not, he is the only one liscensed to spew that mess.
"That forum" is actually back, so I don't think he'll be on here.
39 or 42 degrees past noon here (depends on which station you use). This must be the twilight zone.
after this week... pattern change seems to be on the table... more spring like... with systems coming off the pacific coast, that need watching... say severe wx will be increasing as we head towards april...Any clues to how the rest of March will play out? Any signs of Severe Weather?
Very nice here. Cloudy, low 40's, if this is any indication of what winter will bring, it looks good this early in the season. I just hope Jan and Feb are as cold as Nov is setting up to.....wait.....whaaaaa??However - nice in this neck of the woods - 65º and cloudy at 3:00 PM, with a freeze coming this week ... even us down here get lucky sometimes ...
I was going to say it has some ensemble support too but now reading the data issues from NCEP and not sure how accurate this is, I see on Pivotal GFS still @204 soooooooHmmm I see GFS back to showing a nice CAD event next weekend for parts of NC......

No, but thanks, Phil. I just keep flashing back into bizarro world I'm sure the next 8 months of hellish heat and humidity will roast it out of me! Just in time for another extended fall, all thanks to hair spray, and air conditioning in cars. I'm going to start wishing very hard...not to save Tink, but to get some volcano action, and a few volcano winters. I'd like to see the Hooch and the Flint freeze over enough for ice fishing.LOL, Tony.
Do I need to summon Jon to the consultation counter?
