Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday wishes for the board members! It is important to enjoy life and also be nice to others no matter what the weather prospects are as weather is trivial in comparison to so many other things like health. If you have good health, count yourself as lucky and try not to be bitter even if you somehow already knew you won't see another day of snow for the rest of your long life. Snow and cold are obviously out of our control. So, why get mad about it? And think about it this way: the homeless would be more comfortable with less cold and snow. And I say that as one who enjoys both!

60s and 70s isnt a blowtorch?
60s sure aren't for areas of the SE that average in the high 50s to middle 60s, which covers a good number of active members. And even 70s are normal to occur from time to time most areas this time of year.

When I think of blowtorch in winter, I think of longlasting periods of day after day well into the 70s to near 80 along with nights of 50s+. But that's just my area.

Around this time many years ago I was so pumped for tomorrow. I was wanting this day to go bye so fast. Waking up and seeing toys under the tree was awesome. I never once cared about snow, actually didn’t want it to be cold and snowy. I wanted it to be warm so I could play outside . Merry Christmas guys and girls. Seeing your kids faces make a Christmas very special. They believe in Santa as much as I believe I’ll see snow again before I die.

I don’t get as excited about Christmas now like I used to when I was a kid, but I get more into the holiday spirit and excited when I think about the reactions my niece and nephew will have when they open their gifts on Christmas morning. I’m really curious to see how my nephew will react tomorrow. I got him a Nintendo Switch. I know he’s gonna flip out.😂 Anyway, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Years! I hope everyone has a joyful and festive time with friends and family.

Happy holidays to all.....

Top 3 Xmas weather events....

2010 started snowing around 10pm Xmas night end up with around a foot of snow, obviously most fell on the 26th but its the only time I have seen actual snow falling in the 24hrs that is Christmas day
1989 we had 8" of snow 2 days before Xmas so thats the only real white Xmas we have had here in my lifetime.
1989 also saw a low of 0 due to snow pack

Dear God, sometimes I get too caught in the Christmas commercialism. OK, a lot of times. Today, I’m going to refocus my heart and remember why I’m celebrating this wonderful day in the first place. I’m celebrating Jesus today…and every day! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Amen
