I've had 6.09" of rain at my house since Saturday. It is in the 50s this morning. I am ready for some dry and hot weather.
RAH posted on Facebook they expect a lot of hail reports today. The storms today might be worse for Wake than the ones yesterday.Might get a few hailers this afternoon! 6z NAM looks fairly robust.
Did not make it to 70 todayMost of y'all north and west of me might just continue to enjoy normal to somewhat below normal temps for a couple of weeks. Here's hoping for ya!

Here's a good reason why:Did not make it to 70 today
You say that as if it's a bad thing..... be thankful.Tornado watch cancelled for Wake. Had rain and two rumbles of thunder here. The trend of having duds here when under any kind of watch or more than a slight risk of severe storms continues.
Did not get a chance to post it yesterday but had nickle size hail here at my office in Louisburg in a cell that developed right over head.... fortunately no dings in the vehicles.Judging from the amount of sticks and leaves in the yard must have had a nice bit of hail

I only managed 69.2 yesterday. Big difference today we hit 81.6!Did not make it to 70 today
Beautiful here, may we all have a not too hot summer!I only managed 69.2 yesterday. Big difference today we hit 81.6!
Your right prob wont happen, but being its not a winter storm it could very well happen lol. Last few years or so our on set first month of Hurricane season has been slightly active in the Gulf with some sort of storm. For kicks only, and 100% not happening, especially with the verification scores.

I meant june 20th starts summerThursday first day of summer/Atlantic Hurricane season? Ready for it.
Wow, another month above normal. Too bad the cooler weather didn't last. One month will end it eventually lol. At least we were above normal on precipitation in parts of the Southeast for the month. Ended up with 2"-4" above for my area, which brought our lake up a foot and pushed the drought away some.Hoping it will be a much quieter hurricane season than last year!
Hot hot yesterday here with 96!
It appears the warmer than normal streak is going to go still another month here, at ATL, and at Gainesville. Also, many other stations in GA, FL, SC, and NC will end warmer than normal. However, a state like AL is a different story with Anniston and Tuscaloosa, which are both cooler than normal, almost definitely headed for a cooler than normal May. BHM is a close call.
