I cant remember how long it has been since two tornados touched down in my home county on the same day. I wouldnt be surprised if it has never happened in Gaston County. The odds are even further out that each twister missed both sets of my parents by less than half a mile. Wild.

Didn't think I would get any rain today (most stayed south), but a storm popped up and came right over my house. Got .17" in in less than 15 minutes.

48 years of storm tracking and I've never had much fear. Stand outside during every hurricane never shy away from a big storm. After the house got struck a couple weeks ago I am now q bit shook by lightning to be honest. This storm we just had was electrifying once again. Had me on my toes.

Got several storms today, some small hail around and 2" of rain....
