I'm the new Shetley. .06" and heavies all around me.
We tossMan the Euro overnight for the next two weeks is straight up glorious. The EPS agrees. The 6z GFS, however, brings the backdoor front through and kills rain chances for week two for a good bit of the area. That is one of the things I'm worried about, but it may be too aggressive. GEFS hasn't finished running yet, so IDK if it fully agrees or not.

CAD is going to win this. The drought is going nowhere. CAD will destroy both weeks in the foothills and western piedmont. Al, GA, and Tenn, along with parts of the central Carolinas look great though. We toss
You're not even in reality here. Check out the radar. You're county is getting a very solid rain as we speak and there are some big lines behind it. It's just getting started and you've got an entire week at least to go. I've already had 1.02. Calm yourself and try to use some rationality.CAD is going to win this. The drought is going nowhere. Northeast part of the state got pounded and it getting it again.E ATL burbs doing quite well!
Does anyone have a link to radar estimated rainfall?
Did you end up getting anything this afternoon? It looks to set up in the same place tomorrow too. Northwest may not get anything from this other than some isolated storms.I'm the new Shetley. .06" and heavies all around me.
As of 9:15 PM, radar shows another nice area of light to moderate rain SW of Atlanta moving NE and seems to be holding together quite well.E ATL burbs doing quite well!

It looks like the CAD boundary may retreat some and set up along HWY 74 instead of from Anderson to Rock Hill in SC. Stronger storms maybe a little farther north than they were today.
The rain finally got here, but not too much thunder. The CAD took care of that. Storms got as close as Laurens and fizzled out.1.25 in the bucket today. Almost forgot what rain and thunder sounded like.
That county and others around it got pounded yesterday for sure. That total is no surprise at all for Greenwood.View attachment 196095
Very nice. Finally some wetness. It started to feel the Sahara desert around here.
I don't know. They just kept on getting storm after storm over that entire county yesterday. I'd guarantee someone there got at least 5 inches if not much more.i cant find anything close to 8+ inches of rain in greenwood sc. 6 inches + did happen around stonesboro outside kershaw though
