Diurnally driven PoPs love to see it
The dominate feature over our area thru the
end of the period. Regardless, the fcst keeps the general trend
of diurnally-driven slight to solid chance PoPs from Sunday
onward, with little in the way of QPF at this time.
 
What is our peak season for tornadoes in the Carolina's? I ask because it looks like our next legit threat of svr wx appears to in the first week of May. And one of biggest tornado outbreaks in the western Carolina's was 32 years ago, in May. We're kind of overdue over here...
 
These crazy poleward ridge expansions on the back side of these troughs is a good recipe to cut something off. The 0z Euro hinted at that idea as well later in its run
Need to watch out esp with the thermodynamics we’re gonna possibly see next week, one thing cutting something off in March/April but in May your starting to get bigger thermodynamics on average

The May 1989 outbreak had unseasonably warm temperatures in the days leading up to it... much like what is being indicated next week
