I had received ~0.65” of rain since my last report.

In addition, today I’ve been getting a strong thunderstorm that has had a warning since ~4PM. I got 1”+ very quickly. Some CTG lightning nearby. Rain now letting up.

OOOhhhhhWweeeee..this is tropical rain, lol. And then it's drizzle.....but I bet that was between a half and a whole.

Just got home to a severe thunderstorm warning. It's going to be dinnertime for me soon, but part of me wishes I could find a field or something to watch the lightning ha (I'm not going to since I'm fighting it a bit physically).

The line looks pretty nasty, kind of seems like it's bowing out.

So far pretty “meh” here in the upstate of SC. Let’s see what she do

Yeah the radar is not as impressive as it was a few hours ago thankfully. Of course I say that and if it survives nighttime/rain cooled air, there's a tornado warned area in the storm line that has probably tracked from Columbus to Macon now and would probably track to here.

I went to check the rain gauge before going for what I intend to be a longish walk, but sadly it was knocked over. đź’€ So I think at least an inch of rain from two storms, but I have no recording of it.

Just a few miles making a big difference in rainfall amounts here on the northern edge of the precip shield.
Heaviest rain in the Chattanooga area has been right along and east of I-75 (picked up 1.08" imby) while just a few miles west at the airport, only 0.18" has fallen.

Tornado Watch dropped for ATL...I looked out west and did not see any high wind gust or anything in AL. When does these winds suppose to pick up for ATL?
