HI hit 100 at 10:15am went to 105 by 12pm and has been 108 or higher just about ever since.

Not a rain cloud in sight.
 
Interesting fact I came across on this old paper talking about piedmont troughs in N.C., something in the ballpark of about 2/3rds of outflow boundary collisions result in the generation of new thunderstorms in the summertime, and they usually lag about 15-30 mins after the collision has taken place
